The OnePlus 15R is the stronger-on-paper phone for display resolution and refresh rate, chipset, battery capacity, and wired charging. The Nothing Phone (4b) has the lower listed euro MSRP: PhoneArena compares an 8GB/128GB version at €329 with a 12GB/256GB OnePlus 15R at €700, a €371 gap between those configurations. That is a comparison-page MSRP, not a current local offer, so whether the OnePlus is worth the difference depends on which specifications matter to you and the prices available in your market.

How do the prices and configurations compare?

PhoneArena lists the OnePlus 15R at €700 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and the Nothing Phone (4b) at €329 for 8GB/128GB. The difference is €371 for those specific configurations. These are euro MSRP figures reported by PhoneArena’s comparison, not verified current street prices or a universal quote for every country.

PhoneArena also lists a 12GB/512GB OnePlus 15R and an 8GB/256GB Nothing Phone (4b), with the latter marked India-only. Since the cited euro prices do not establish prices for those larger-storage versions or for local retailers, compare like-for-like listings in your region before treating the MSRP gap as your actual cost difference.

Which display is better on paper?

Both phones are listed with 6.8-inch displays, but the OnePlus 15R has the higher listed resolution and refresh rate: 2800×1272 at 165Hz, versus 1080×2344 at 120Hz for the Phone (4b). That gives the OnePlus an advantage in pixel detail and maximum refresh rate on the published specifications. OnePlus also advertises the 165Hz panel on its product page.

Those numbers do not establish which screen has better color, brightness in everyday conditions, or viewing quality overall. If those qualities matter more than resolution or refresh rate, specifications alone are not enough to choose a winner.

How much faster is the OnePlus 15R?

PhoneArena lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the OnePlus 15R and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in the Phone (4b). Its comparison page also displays higher Geekbench 6 and 3DMark scores for the OnePlus. Those are PhoneArena-reported benchmark results, not tests performed for this article; benchmark scores can help indicate differences in tested workloads but do not predict the experience in every app or game.

On the available specifications and PhoneArena’s listed benchmarks, the OnePlus is the performance-oriented option. PhoneArena’s published comparison does not provide enough detail about test conditions or exact scores to make a more specific claim about the size of its real-world advantage.

Do the battery figures mean longer battery life?

The listed capacities are 7,400mAh for the OnePlus 15R and 5,200mAh for the standard Phone (4b), with a 6,000mAh Phone (4b) variant noted for India. PhoneArena lists wired charging at 80W for the OnePlus and 33W for the Nothing. These figures favor the OnePlus for capacity and rated wired charging speed, but they are specifications—not comparable endurance or charging-time measurements. They do not establish how long either phone lasts in real use or how quickly it charges from a given starting level.

Is either phone clearly better for photos or video?

PhoneArena lists both phones with a 50MP main camera with OIS/PDAF and an 8MP ultrawide rear camera. OnePlus identifies its main sensor as the Sony IMX906; Nothing advertises 4K video on its regional product page. Those details help describe the hardware and advertised features, but there is no controlled head-to-head image-quality evidence here to establish a camera winner.

What about software and durability?

OnePlus advertises OxygenOS 16. Nothing describes the Phone (4b) as running Nothing OS with Essential AI tools; PhoneArena lists Android 16 for both and up to three OS updates for the Phone (4b). Comparable manufacturer software-support commitments are not established by these cited details, so the Phone (4b)’s listed update figure should not be treated as a direct support-policy comparison.

PhoneArena lists the OnePlus 15R at 163.4 × 77 × 8.1mm and 213g, with a glass back, aluminum frame and IP69 resistance. It lists the Phone (4b) at 164.4 × 78.2 × 8.6mm and 210g, with a plastic back and frame and IP64 resistance. These are database specifications; confirm the exact regional model if dimensions, materials or resistance ratings are decisive for you.

Which one should you choose?

Choose the OnePlus 15R if

  • You prioritize the higher listed screen resolution and refresh rate.
  • You want the stronger-on-paper chipset and the higher PhoneArena benchmark results.
  • You value the larger listed battery capacity and higher wired-charging rating.

Choose the Nothing Phone (4b) if

  • Your priority is a lower listed entry price and the 8GB/128GB configuration meets your needs.
  • The OnePlus’s specification advantages do not justify the price difference you see locally.
  • You prefer Nothing OS or its advertised Essential AI tools.

For a practical decision, compare current prices for the exact RAM and storage variants available in your country. The listed MSRP comparison points to a substantial gap, but it does not establish the price you will pay or a universal value winner.
