Price depends on country and configuration, so the available US and India figures are not a like-for-like comparison.

Where the displays differ
vivo lists a 6.82-inch, 3168 × 1440 panel, compared with OnePlus’s 6.78-inch, 2772 × 1272 display. That makes the vivo panel larger and higher-resolution on the published dimensions. OnePlus specifies an adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum of 165 Hz in gaming. The cited vivo store details do not establish its refresh rate, so the available figures do not support a full refresh-rate comparison or an overall display verdict based on brightness, color, or viewing tests.

Same named processor, different camera approach
Performance platform
Both manufacturers list the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chipset name therefore does not distinguish these models. Specifications alone cannot establish which phone performs faster in sustained workloads, games, or everyday use; that would require comparable testing.
Camera hardware and accessories
OnePlus’s US launch page describes three 50 MP rear cameras and 3.5× optical zoom. vivo lists a 200 MP main camera, 50 MP ultra-wide and 200 MP telephoto. On paper, vivo’s higher-resolution telephoto and dedicated accessories make its camera setup more specialized, but megapixel counts do not establish image quality.
vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 provides a 200 mm-equivalent focal length, while the Gen 2 Ultra provides 400 mm equivalent when attached to the X300 Ultra and enabled in the Camera app. These are purpose-built accessories for this phone, not universal lenses. The focal-length figures describe the accessory setup, not the phone’s standalone optical zoom.
Battery capacity and charging
OnePlus lists a 7,300 mAh battery and 120W SUPERVOOC on its global specifications page. The vivo India store lists 6,600 mAh typical capacity, 6,395 mAh rated capacity and 100W FlashCharge. These are manufacturer-listed capacity and charging figures; they do not show which phone lasts longer in real use. Endurance depends on workload, settings and software, and a meaningful runtime comparison requires testing under comparable conditions.

The published figures below refer to different regional and pricing contexts, so they should not be read as a universal price gap.
| Phone and listing | Published price | Context |
|---|---|---|
| OnePlus 15 | From $999.99 | US launch page; starting price |
| OnePlus 15 | ₹85,999 | India comparison-page snapshot from 91mobiles; changeable listing |
| vivo X300 Ultra | ₹159,999; MRP ₹199,999 | vivo India store, 16GB+512GB configuration |

Sources: OnePlus US launch page, vivo India store listing and 91mobiles comparison page. The OnePlus US starting price and India figures do not form a direct comparison. Before buying, check the price in your country for matching RAM and storage, along with promotions, warranty terms and the exact regional model. Network bands, software and included accessories can differ by region; the vivo India store says its box includes a USB power adapter and case, which should not be assumed for other markets.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the OnePlus 15 if its listed 7,300 mAh battery, adaptive 1–120 Hz display and gaming refresh-rate specification fit your priorities. These specifications do not by themselves establish longer battery life or better gaming performance.
- Consider the vivo X300 Ultra if you want the listed 200 MP main and telephoto cameras, the higher-resolution panel, or the option of dedicated 200 mm- and 400 mm-equivalent telephoto extenders.
- Compare locally before deciding on value. Check the same country, storage tier and purchase conditions rather than subtracting prices from different regional listings.
Neither spec sheet settles real-world camera quality, sustained speed, display quality or battery endurance. Those require comparable testing; choose according to the listed hardware that matters most to you.
