Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Ollama Cloud Free costs $0 and includes a monthly starter allowance for a smaller set of models; Pro costs $20 per month or $200 per year and includes $60 in monthly usage credits plus access to larger Pro models. Ollama does not state the Free allowance’s dollar value on the pages checked, so there is no reliable way to translate it into a fixed number of prompts. Both plans meter hosted model use by tokens, and the amount consumed depends on the model and the input, cached input, and output tokens involved.

Included credits are a spending allowance, not a set number of requests or a universal token quota. Ollama prices Cloud use by model and separates input, cached input, and output tokens. One example on the pricing page checked in 2026 is gpt-oss:20b at $0.07 per million input tokens, $0.035 per million cached input tokens, and $0.30 per million output tokens. That example is model-specific; other models have their own rates.
#1 Best Overall
- EVOLUTION AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ 395 MINI PC - GMKtec EVO-X2 is the next evolution in AI mini PC Ryzen Strix Halo series. Thanks to AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) the core-count is effectively doubled, to 32 threads. Ryzen AI Max+ 395 has 64 MB of L3 cache and can boost up to 5.1 GHz, depending on the workload. The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is currently rated as the "most powerful x86 APU" on the market for AI computing.
- AI NPU with XDNA 2 ARCHITECTURE - Powered by 16 “Zen 5” CPU cores, 50+ peak AI TOPS XDNA 2 NPU and a truly massive integrated GPU driven by 40 AMD RDNA 3.5 CUs, the Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 is a transformative upgrade and delivers a significant performance boost over the competition. The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 excels in consumer AI workloads like the llama.cpp-powered application: LM Studio. Shaping up to be the must-have app for client LLM workloads, LM Studio allows users to locally run the latest language model without any technical knowledge required and unleash their creativity and productivity.
- AMD RADEON 8090S iGPU GAMING PC - The AMD Radeon RX 8060S offers all 40 CUs with up to 2.9 GHz graphics clock and uses the new RDNA 3.5 architecture. The powerful iGPU is positioned between an RTX 4060 and 4070 laptop GPU and therefore enables gaming in FHD at maximum details in most demanding games. The 8060S can also utilize the full 128GB pool, which is perfect for running LLMs such as Deepseek 70B Q8, which runs comfortably on this machine.
- EIGHT CHANNEL LPDDR5X - LPDDR5X is a new ground breaking memory small form factor installed on-board. With blazing speeds up to to 8000MT/s, it runs 1.5x faster than the DDR5 SODIMMs; 90% better performance over DDR5 SODIMMs in video conferencing and photo editing; 30% better performance in productivity apps; 12% better performance in digital content workloads.
- QUAD SCREEN 8K DISPLAY SUPPORT - EVO-X2 AI Mini PC support 4-screen 4K/8K output via HDMI 2.1 (8K@60Hz), DisplayPort 1.4 (4K@60Hz), and dual USB 4 40Gbps Transfer speed (supporting PD3.0/DP1.4/DATA). Ideal for gaming, video editing, and multitasking, it provides expansive and crisp multi-display support.
Because the model and the mix of input, cached input, and output tokens affect the charge, the $60 included with Pro cannot be converted into a dependable number of prompts. Check the current model-specific rates on the pricing page before estimating a workload.
When does included usage reset, and do credits roll over?
Free’s monthly allowance resets from the account’s signup date. For paid subscriptions, included usage refreshes on the same day of the month the subscription began, including on annual plans. Unused included usage does not roll over. Purchased usage credits are used after included plan credits, according to Ollama’s pricing FAQ.

How many requests can you run at once?
Concurrency is a separate limit from the monthly dollar allowance: Free permits one concurrent request and Pro permits three. Requests above the plan’s concurrency limit wait in a queue until a slot opens. Ollama sets a maximum queue size, so a request may be rejected if the queue is full. These figures and queue terms are listed on the pricing page.
What happens when the included credits run out?
Ollama’s August 31, 2026 announcement says its new pricing has no five-hour or weekly usage limits, and that usage can continue after the included pool is consumed at the same per-token rates. That is not an absence of all limits: concurrency and queue capacity still apply. Free users can use purchased usage credits, while Pro usage can continue at the published rates after its included credits are used. Consult the announcement and pricing page for current terms.

Which plan fits your usage?
Choose Free to try Cloud models
Free is the straightforward starting point if you want to test hosted inference without a subscription and the starter-model selection and unquantified allowance are sufficient. If you need another model, Ollama says buying usage credits unlocks all models.
Choose Pro for larger models and more simultaneous work
Pro makes sense when access to larger Pro models, three concurrent requests, and a $60 monthly usage pool justify its listed subscription price. It is not automatically cheaper than Free or pay-as-you-go use: the value depends on the models you select and the amount and type of tokens they consume.

Estimate with token rates, not prompt counts
For a cost estimate, identify the model and estimate input, cached input, and output tokens separately, then apply that model’s listed per-million-token rates. This is more useful than assuming a monthly credit pool corresponds to a fixed number of chats. Ollama’s rates and plan terms can change, so verify the current pricing page before committing.

What existing subscribers should check
Ollama’s August 31, 2026 announcement says existing subscribers may retain legacy terms if they continue auto-renewing. Changing the plan or billing cycle, or cancelling and later re-subscribing, moves an account to the new pricing model. Because legacy terms are account-specific, check the plan and billing details in your account before assuming the current Free-versus-Pro comparison applies to an existing subscription. See Ollama’s announcement.
Local inference is a separate option
Ollama’s pricing FAQ says, “Running models on your own hardware is always unlimited.” That statement concerns local inference, not an increase to Cloud’s included allowance. Cloud and local use have different resource and billing arrangements; the Free and Pro terms above describe hosted usage.
