पहले पता करें कि काली स्क्रीन कहाँ दिख रही है: OBS preview में, local recording में, या सिर्फ YouTube पर। OBS preview काली है तो active scene और capture source जाँचें; preview सही लेकिन YouTube पर video काला है तो OBS के connection/performance संकेत और YouTube Live Control Room का stream health देखें। इस लक्षण का कोई एक universal YouTube-only fix स्थापित नहीं है—अगला कदम इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि समस्या किस चरण में आती है।
पहले समस्या की जगह पहचानें
एक ही test के दौरान OBS preview, local recording और YouTube live preview की तुलना करें। यह diagnostic क्रम है, किसी एक कारण का प्रमाण नहीं।
- OBS preview भी काली है: चुना हुआ scene और source, source visibility, परतों का क्रम, चुना गया game/window/display और source की सक्रियता जाँचें।
- OBS preview सही, local recording काली: recording में काला frame आने का समय नोट करें और source तथा rendering path जाँचें। Preview सही होना यह साबित नहीं करता कि recording या stream output भी सही है।
- Preview और recording सही, YouTube पर काली: OBS के connection/performance counters और YouTube Live Control Room के stream-health messages देखें। केवल इस symptom से किसी खास YouTube setting को दोषी नहीं ठहराया जा सकता।
यह तुलना तय करती है कि जाँच scene/capture से शुरू करनी है या outgoing stream से।
OBS preview काली हो तो scene और source ठीक करें
- सही scene चुनें: OBS में Scenes सूची में वही scene चुनें जिसे stream में इस्तेमाल करना है।
- Source चालू और सामने रखें: Sources में संबंधित source की visibility (आँख का icon) चालू होनी चाहिए। देखें कि कोई opaque source उसके ऊपर रखकर image छिपा तो नहीं रहा।
- सही target चुनें: Game Capture में इच्छित game, Window Capture में सही application window, या Display Capture में सही display चुनें। Source सक्रिय है या नहीं, यह भी जाँचें।
- छोटा test करें: बदलाव के बाद recording बनाकर देखें कि image आती है या नहीं। इससे live event पर निर्भर हुए बिना source की जाँच हो सकती है।
Game Capture blank हो तो
OBS की Game Capture Source guide और Game Capture Troubleshooting guide के अनुसार capture mode और चयनित game जाँचें। कुछ modes में game खुला और foreground में होना जरूरी है। Fullscreen game alt-tab करने पर rendering रोक सकता है; इसलिए OBS preview में game न दिखना अपने-आप में capture failure का प्रमाण नहीं है। Game सक्रिय रखते हुए test recording करें या OBS को दूसरे monitor पर रखें।

अगर समस्या बनी रहे, तो game के मुताबिक workaround आजमाएँ—हर सुझाव हर game पर लागू नहीं होता:
- कुछ games में Window Capture या windowed/borderless mode काम आ सकता है। OBS अपनी guide में Destiny 2 के लिए यही दिशा बताता है।
- कुछ games में OBS को administrator के रूप में चलाना जरूरी हो सकता है।
- कुछ games के DX12 mode में OBS DX11 आजमाने की सलाह देता है। इसे तभी आजमाएँ जब आपके game और समस्या के लिए यह लागू हो।
Laptop या all-in-one पर capture गायब हो तो
एक से अधिक graphics adapters वाले system में OBS की GPU assignment और चुना हुआ capture method जाँचें। OBS की Laptop Troubleshooting guide Windows/OBS version के अनुसार display-capture compatibility का संदर्भ देती है और OBS को high-power GPU पर चलाने की सलाह देती है। सही menu path OS, Windows build और OBS version पर निर्भर हो सकता है, इसलिए किसी एक path को सभी laptops के लिए मानकर न चलें।

Preview ठीक हो, लेकिन YouTube पर काली स्क्रीन हो
YouTube Live Control Room में stream-health messages देखें और OBS में connection तथा performance संकेत साथ-साथ जाँचें। YouTube encoder setup के लिए अपने live encoder की settings, bitrate और resolution चुनने तथा stream test करने की सलाह देता है। Dashboard का feedback लें; केवल black screen देखकर bitrate या किसी एक setting को बदलना पक्का इलाज नहीं है।
Dropped frames या disconnect दिखें तो connection जाँचें
OBS का dropped-frame counter देखें। OBS की Stream Connection Troubleshooting guide के अनुसार बढ़ते dropped frames या intermittent disconnections इस ओर संकेत कर सकते हैं कि remote ingest server तक connection अस्थिर है या चुना गया bitrate connection की क्षमता से अधिक है।

- Test stream चलाकर OBS counters और YouTube stream health देखें।
- यदि dropped frames बढ़ रहे हों, तो upload connection और चुने हुए bitrate की जाँच करें; reliable settings के लिए YouTube encoder guidance देखें।
- एक-एक बदलाव के बाद फिर test करें। Black screen अकेले bitrate बदलने का आधार नहीं है।
Rendering या encoding performance की जाँच करें
काली स्क्रीन के समय OBS में rendering/encoding performance संकेत देखें। भारी GPU load, जटिल scenes और resource-intensive sources प्रदर्शन को प्रभावित कर सकते हैं। OBS की Encoding Performance Troubleshooting guide के मुताबिक, scene सरल करके नियंत्रित test करना उपयोगी है।
- एक सरल scene से test करें।
- अनावश्यक browser sources और overlays अस्थायी रूप से बंद करके तुलना करें।
- यदि सरल scene में समस्या नहीं आती, तो sources एक-एक करके वापस चालू करें ताकि पता चले कि कौन-सा source या संयोजन फर्क डालता है।
इस title से अकेले कोई hardware upgrade, resolution, encoder या preset तय नहीं किया जा सकता।

Capture से टकरा सकने वाले software अलग करके जाँचें
Overlays और monitoring tools, कुछ security software, या साथ चल रहे दूसरे capture/recording applications OBS के साथ conflict कर सकते हैं। OBS की Known Application Conflicts guide में इन श्रेणियों का उल्लेख है।
- एक नियंत्रित test के लिए ऐसे software अस्थायी रूप से बंद करें।
- अगर समस्या बदलती है, तो उन्हें एक-एक करके वापस चालू करें।
- जिस software को वापस चालू करने पर समस्या लौटे, उसी पर आगे ध्यान दें।
यह जाँच है; इससे यह साबित नहीं होता कि आपके computer पर conflict मौजूद है।

Test stream और उपयोगी जानकारी
YouTube live शुरू करने से पहले audio और moving video के साथ test करने तथा event के दौरान stream health देखने की सलाह देता है। समस्या दोहराने के लिए आप उपयुक्त private या unlisted test arrangement चुन सकते हैं; यह एक व्यावहारिक सुझाव है, YouTube की गारंटी या नियम नहीं।
अगर समस्या बनी रहती है और मदद माँगनी हो, तो ये विवरण साथ रखें: operating system और OBS version; source type (Game, Window, Display या Video Capture); क्या local recording भी काली हुई; OBS के dropped-frame तथा rendering/encoding संकेत; और समस्या के समय का OBS log। इन विवरणों के बिना किसी निश्चित root cause या एक setting को समाधान घोषित नहीं किया जा सकता।
