The NZXT H6 RGB+ is a dual-chamber mid-tower that comes with three RGB fans and a fan-and-lighting controller; the standard H6 is a separate fan-free version. Its roomy main chamber, support for a top-mounted 360 mm radiator, and distinctive glass-fronted look make it appealing for a showcase build. The main buying cautions are a cramped rear cable area and conflicting NZXT GPU-clearance figures: plan around 360 mm unless NZXT confirms your exact card will fit.
What’s included—and which H6 this review covers
This review is about the 2026 NZXT H6 RGB+, not the older H6 Flow RGB. NZXT lists the RGB+ in black (CC-H62FB-P1) and white (CC-H62FW-P1). The package includes two F360 RGB Reverse fans, one F120 RGB fan, and a Control Hub Lite. NZXT also sells a separate standard H6 without fans, so the two versions should not be treated as the same out-of-box package. NZXT’s H6 RGB+ product page and its H6 (2026) specifications identify the bundle differences.

Design, dimensions, and component fit
NZXT describes the case as a 55 L dual-chamber ATX mid-tower made from steel and tempered glass. The product page gives its dimensions as 448 × 292 × 420 mm. Motherboard support includes ATX, micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX; back-connect motherboard support is listed for ATX only. The case has seven expansion slots, two 2.5-inch drive bays, and one 3.5-inch bay. NZXT’s product specifications and the H6 Series Digital Manual provide the measurements and fit details.

- Graphics card: NZXT’s product page and manual say up to 390 mm with a 30 mm front-right fan, but the May 2026 support specification sheet lists 360 mm under that same condition. CGMagazine also describes 360 mm clearance. The discrepancy is unresolved; use 360 mm as the conservative planning limit and check the exact card and current documentation before purchase.
- CPU cooler: up to 165 mm tall.
- Power supply: up to 200 mm long.
- Cable-routing space: up to 90 mm.
The GPU figure is the one clearance where the official specifications conflict. The support sheet and CGMagazine’s review give 360 mm, while the product page and manual give 390 mm.
#1 Best Overall
- DUAL-CHAMBER DESIGN — A dedicated secondary chamber isolates power and cables from your main build, while angled front-right fans deliver targeted airflow directly to your hottest components.
- SEAMLESS CURVED GLASS — Single-piece tempered glass, bent to a tight radius for minimal distortion. Every component and RGB detail front and center, no seams.
- HIGH-AIRFLOW MESH — Ultra-fine mesh across top, front-right, and right panels improves airflow, while a removable bottom nylon filter keeps dust out without restricting intake.
- 10 X 120 MM FAN SUPPORT — Standardized mounts across top, front-right, bottom, and rear for flexible cooling. H6 ships without fans so you can fully customize your cooling and lighting.
- GPU ANTI-SAG BRACKET — Integrated, adjustable anti-sag bracket keeps the largest, heaviest modern GPUs firmly supported and properly aligned for a clean look.
Cooling capacity and controller details
The H6 RGB+ has ten 120 mm fan positions across the front-right, top, bottom, and rear. NZXT specifies support for a top radiator up to 360 mm (with total length up to 400 mm) and a rear radiator up to 120 mm. At the top, radiator and fan together can be up to 67 mm thick. NZXT lists a 30 mm maximum combined radiator-and-fan thickness at the front-right position. Check the complete radiator-and-fan dimensions against the case and nearby components rather than relying on radiator size alone. NZXT’s H6 (2026) specifications contain the mounting limits.
The included Control Hub Lite needs an internal USB 2.0 header and SATA power. Its fan connections are two NZXT 8-pin PWM-only channels and one 4-pin PWM/DC channel; lighting connections are two NZXT 8-pin channels and one NZXT RGB channel. That mix matters if you plan to add or replace fans: verify the fan’s power and lighting connectors before assuming it can plug into the included hub. The connector details are listed by NZXT and in its support specifications.

What the review found in use
In his September 27, 2026 review for CGMagazine, Erik McDowell described the H6 RGB+ as visually striking and reported good thermals and low noise in his own build. With a Kraken Elite 360 AIO and after extended gaming sessions, he reported maximum readings of 60°C for the CPU, 33°C for the DIMMs, 50°C for the GPU, and below 30°C for the motherboard. Those are readings from his specific build and workload, not controlled comparative test results or a guarantee for other configurations.

He also said the rear chamber was difficult to organize once the top-mounted PSU, HDD cage, and Control Hub Lite were installed. The case’s two-chamber layout therefore gives cables a separate area, but that space can become crowded when the included hardware and storage are all in use. These observations are from McDowell’s CGMagazine review.

H6 RGB+ or fan-free H6?
The choice depends on whether the included fans and controller suit your build. The RGB+ is the ready-to-build option if you want RGB fans and compatible NZXT control hardware. The fan-free H6 may be preferable if you already own fans and control hardware or want to choose a different configuration. Compare the total cost of the case plus the parts you would otherwise buy; current pricing for both versions can change, so a historical price snapshot is not a dependable live comparison.
NZXT’s page showed a $199.99 sale price when accessed on October 7, 2026, while CGMagazine described $199 as the MSRP. These are separate price snapshots, not a promise of today’s price. McDowell’s view was that the included fans and controller made the bundle attractive compared with buying those parts separately; that is his value assessment, not a verified comparison across current retailers. NZXT’s product page and CGMagazine’s review provide those respective price and value statements.
