NTTコミュニケーションズは2025年7月1日付で「NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS, Inc.（NTTドコモビジネス株式会社）」に社名を変更しました。6月19日の株主総会で承認された変更です。会社は、ドコモグループの新しいコーポレートアイデンティティーを反映し、グループの一体感やシナジーを高めて顧客価値につなげることを理由に挙げています。SNSで「驚いた」とする反応も報じられましたが、確認できる情報は個別の投稿例で、反応の広がりを示す調査ではありません。

NTTコミュニケーションズは2025年5月9日、社名を「NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS, Inc.（NTTドコモビジネス株式会社）」に変更する方針を発表しました。当初は株主総会での承認が条件でしたが、6月19日の定時株主総会で承認され、7月1日に変更が実施されました。同社の発表と顧客向けのお知らせで、発表時の予定と実施日を確認できます。

なぜ「ドコモビジネス」に変わったのか
NTTコミュニケーションズは、変更の理由を「ドコモグループ」の新たなコーポレートアイデンティティーに伴うものと説明しています。グループとしての一体感を社名やロゴで表し、グループのシナジーを生かして顧客価値を高めることが狙いです。これは会社が示した方針であり、発表は特定のサービスを終了する、あるいは従来の事業運営を置き換えるとは説明していません。
