What the specification differences mean
Display: bigger on Nothing, slightly denser figures on vivo
The comparison listing gives the Phone (4a) a larger 6.78-inch screen, versus 6.59 inches for the V70. It lists the V70 at 2750 × 1260 pixels and the Nothing at 2720 × 1224, both at 120Hz. vivo markets its panel as 1.5K OLED. Those figures and labels describe different aspects of the displays; they do not establish which looks better in person.

The listed processors are Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 for the Phone (4a) and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the V70. The model names alone do not show how the phones compare in gaming, sustained performance or everyday responsiveness. No matched benchmark results are established here.

Cameras: optical zoom and maximum zoom are different claims
vivo highlights a 50MP ZEISS telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Nothing advertises up to 70x zoom for the Phone (4a), while vivo claims up to 100x zoom for the V70. Maximum zoom figures are not directly comparable to optical zoom: they do not, by themselves, tell you how much detail a photo retains. Megapixel counts also cannot settle selfie or overall camera quality.
vivo describes its telephoto camera this way: “Co-engineered by vivo and ZEISS, V70 delivers sharp, vibrant distant portraits with its 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, bringing far-away moments close and unforgettable.” This is the manufacturer’s product claim, not independent evidence of image quality.
Battery and charging: V70 leads on listed figures
The comparison listing gives the V70 a 6500mAh battery and 90W charging, compared with 5400mAh and 50W for the Phone (4a). vivo also advertises the V70’s 6500mAh capacity and 90W FlashCharge. Capacity and charging rate do not establish real-world battery life or the time needed to charge under every condition; comparable testing would be needed for those conclusions.

Size and protection: check the exact regional model
The V70 is listed as shorter, narrower, thinner and lighter than the Phone (4a). The same comparison lists IP69 for the V70 and IP64 for the Nothing. Because these ratings are reported by a secondary comparison that may combine regional variants, confirm the certification for the precise model sold in your market before treating it as a deciding factor.

There is no reliable, current price pair here for the same country and storage tier, so a universal price difference cannot be calculated. The Nothing UK product page showed a blue 12GB+256GB Phone (4a) configuration at £449 when accessed in 2026. That is a time-sensitive UK listing, not a matched vivo price or a global price.
Gadgets 360’s comparison listing marks both phones as launched in India and gives secondary-source release dates of March 5, 2026 for the Phone (4a) and February 19, 2026 for the V70. It does not establish a reliable current price pair for matching Indian configurations.
To calculate a useful difference, compare the same country, RAM and storage, and seller type on the same date. Keep official list prices separate from live retailer offers, and check that the regional model, warranty and included accessories match. Do not subtract a UK price from an Indian one or compare different memory tiers.
