A full specs-and-price comparison of the Nothing Phone 4a and vivo T5 5G is not yet possible from official sources alone. vivo publishes a detailed specification set and a displayed price for the T5 5G in India. Nothing’s India page for the Phone (4a) confirms its three-camera system and “Up to 70x ultra zoom” claim, but it does not show a complete specification table or a current India price. So this article sets out what is verified for each phone, marks what is missing, and explains how to close the gap before drawing a conclusion on value.
The short answer
The vivo T5 5G is the better-documented phone of the two. Its India store listing gives the processor, display, cameras, battery, charging, and accessories, and it shows a price of ₹34,999 for the 6GB/128GB configuration. Nothing’s official Phone (4a) page confirms positioning and some camera claims, but the price and most hardware details were not visible in the page we checked. That means there is no verified price difference to report and no basis for naming a winner.

Nothing Phone (4a): what Nothing’s page confirms
Nothing’s India product page for the Phone (4a) lists the phone, describes a three-camera system, and advertises “Up to 70x ultra zoom.” It also shows selectable colour and storage options. The sensor layout, processor, battery, display specification, and India price were not stated in the page content we could read. Until Nothing’s official specification table is available, the zoom figure should be treated as Nothing’s own claim, not a verified camera result.
Side-by-side: what can and cannot be compared
The table uses only values stated on the official pages. “Not stated” means the value did not appear on the Nothing India product page at the time it was checked.

The price difference
You cannot calculate a price difference yet. The only verified price is vivo’s ₹34,999 for the 6GB/128GB T5 5G. Subtracting it from a Nothing figure would require a current Nothing India price for the same RAM and storage tier, and Nothing’s official page did not give one. Any figure you see elsewhere should be checked against Nothing’s own India store before you use it.

Reading vivo’s battery, charging, and durability claims
The 7050 mAh battery and 44W charging are stated by vivo. Real-world battery life, charging time, and how the phone holds up to water and dust have not been tested here. IP68 and IP69 are manufacturer ratings, and the protection they describe depends on the phone being in good condition, so the claim should not be read as an independent durability result.
Checking the comparison yourself
- Open Nothing’s India store and select the Phone (4a). Record the price for the storage tier that matches the T5 5G you are considering.
- Find Nothing’s full specification sheet for the Phone (4a) and confirm the processor, display, battery, charging, and water rating.
- Match the RAM and storage tier on both sites. Compare the 6GB/128GB T5 5G at ₹34,999 only with a 6GB/128GB Nothing configuration.
- Check each brand’s software update policy, which neither source page confirmed.
- Compare weight and dimensions from each manufacturer’s specification sheet, since neither listing reviewed gave them.
- Check both prices on the day you buy, because the vivo store listing shows an MRP and discount that may change.
Once these values are confirmed for both phones from their official sites, a price difference and a like-for-like spec comparison can be stated with confidence.
