Does the Nothing Phone (4a) come with a screen protector?
Yes. Nothing lists “Screen protector (pre-applied)” among the Phone (4a)’s box contents. That means the phone arrives with a protector installed; it does not establish how long it will last or whether you will prefer its feel and coverage.
When should you look for a replacement?
Consider a Nothing Phone (4a) screen protector if the factory-applied one is scratched, lifting, or otherwise worn, or if you want an alternative. If it remains in good condition and works for you, the official box-contents information gives no reason to replace it immediately.

Nothing Support gives the Phone (4a)’s overall dimensions as 163.8 mm high, 77.45 mm wide, and 8.55 mm deep, while cautioning that actual measurements can vary with manufacturing processes and measurement methods. These are body dimensions, not a screen-protector template or aftermarket fit certification.

What is—and is not—known about protector performance
Nothing’s regional product page specifies 4,500-nit peak brightness and 10-bit colour with 1.07 billion tones. Those are manufacturer display specifications, not measurements of how a screen protector affects brightness or colour. They also do not establish a protector’s touch response or fingerprint-reader performance.
The available official information confirms the pre-applied protector and the phone’s general dimensions, but does not identify a recommended aftermarket brand or verify any particular protector’s fit, case compatibility, edge coverage, installation quality, or sensor performance. Without product-specific compatibility evidence and comparative testing, there is no substantiated basis for naming a single “best” option.
