There is no reliable single price difference to quote for these phones without choosing a country and matching their configurations. Nothing’s Europe page lists the Phone (3a) from €329, while OPPO India lists the Reno16 5G (model CPH2865) at ₹66,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹72,999 for 12GB+256GB. Those prices are from different markets and currencies, so they do not establish which phone costs less where you live.
First, identify which Reno16 you mean
“OPPO Reno16” is not a complete global model identifier. OPPO says pricing, availability and specifications vary by market. The detailed specifications and prices below refer specifically to the Reno16 5G, India model CPH2865; they should not be assumed to describe every regional Reno16. OPPO’s global announcement states that “Pricing, regional availability and release timing will vary by market.” OPPO Reno16 Series announcement, 25 June 2026.

Because these are prices from Europe and India, respectively, converting one currency into the other would not produce a fair local price comparison. Taxes, storage configurations, availability and current discounts may differ. To find a genuine price winner, compare the tax-inclusive checkout prices for the same country and date, and match memory and storage as closely as possible.

Choose based on zoom reach
On the listed optical-zoom specifications, OPPO India’s Reno16 offers 3.5x telephoto zoom, compared with 2x on the Phone (3a). OPPO also lists a 50 MP ultrawide, versus Nothing’s 8 MP ultrawide. These figures describe hardware, not photo quality: they do not establish which phone produces better images in real use.
Weigh the battery and charging claims carefully
OPPO lists a higher battery capacity—6,700 mAh typical and 6,490 mAh rated—and an 80 W charging rating. Nothing lists 5,000 mAh and 50 W. Those manufacturer specifications do not show how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges under the same conditions.
Consider protection and what comes in the box
The listed ratings are IP64 for Nothing and IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for the India Reno16. The codes represent different levels and test conditions; a rating is not a promise that a phone is safe in every exposure to dust or water. OPPO India’s listed box includes a charger and protective case, while Nothing’s list includes a cable and pre-applied screen protector. Check packaging for the local version before buying.
Do not infer speed or camera quality from the spec sheet alone
The phones use different Snapdragon platforms, but the specifications alone do not establish which feels smoother or performs better in a given app or game. The available official product information also does not provide a controlled head-to-head camera, battery-runtime, charging-time or benchmark comparison. A higher megapixel count, newer chipset number or larger battery is not itself a measured result.
Check local details before you buy
- Confirm the Reno16’s exact market and model number; the Reno16 5G specifications here are for India model CPH2865.
- Compare tax-inclusive prices in your country for equivalent memory and storage tiers, and check the date and any discount.
- Verify local availability, in-box accessories and specifications on the seller’s listing or manufacturer’s regional page.
- Choose by the features that matter to you—such as stated optical zoom, battery capacity or water-resistance rating—without treating specification differences as proof of real-world superiority.
OPPO also describes an optional Bubble rear-camera monitor for the Reno16 series. Its compatibility requires a suitable case or magnetic ring; check regional availability and device compatibility with OPPO before relying on it. OPPO’s Reno16 Series announcement.
