The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is a premium over-ear wireless headphone built around three driver types per earcup, Bluetooth 6.1, Auracast sharing and wired USB-C or 3.5 mm listening. At launch, it was listed at $399 / £349 / AU$699. Its detailed, cohesive sound impressed one TechRadar reviewer, but the less expensive Nothing Headphone (a) may better suit listeners who prefer a livelier sound or place greater weight on value.
What is the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro?
It is Nothing’s premium over-ear wireless headphone, released on September 28, 2026, according to TechRadar’s review. Nothing’s US product page lists Bluetooth 6.1, simultaneous connection to two devices, IP52 resistance and a weight of 327 g. The box includes a hardshell case, 3.5 mm audio cable, USB-C cable and quick-start guide. Specifications and included accessories may vary by market or product batch.
Three driver types in each earcup
Nothing lists a 40 mm bass dynamic driver, a 13 × 8 mm precision dynamic driver and a 3.2 × 6.0 × 1.15 mm solid-state xMEMS treble driver in each earcup. That is the manufacturer’s hardware specification; the driver count alone does not establish how the headphones will sound to an individual listener.
How much does it cost?
TechRadar reported launch prices of $399 in the US, £349 in the UK and AU$699 in Australia. These are launch figures from 2026, not a current-price or availability check; verify the price in your region before buying.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The key comparison is Nothing’s less expensive Headphone (a). TechRadar’s reviewer found the Pro detailed and cohesive, while noting that the cheaper model may sound more lively to some listeners. The review questions whether the Pro’s improvement justifies its price premium for everyone. That is a reviewer’s judgment, not a universal ranking: sound preference and the value of the Pro’s added features matter.
How does it sound?
TechRadar’s reviewer praised the integration of the three driver types and described the sound as detailed and cohesive. The reviewer also reported that wired USB-C listening could reveal additional detail. These are listening impressions from one review, not standardized measurements or a guarantee that every listener will hear the same difference.

Nothing includes a physical switch for Flat EQ. That description is the manufacturer’s, not an independent finding about the headphone’s frequency response.
What are the battery life and charging claims?
Nothing claims up to 68 hours of playback with ANC off and up to 30 hours with ANC on. Its support page says internal battery testing used a temperature of 25°C/77°F, 50% volume and other features at their default settings. Nothing cautions that actual battery life varies with volume, source, interference, active features and listening habits. Treat the figures as manufacturer claims under stated test conditions, not guaranteed runtimes.

Those figures are Nothing’s claims, not independently measured results in the cited material.
How do the fit and controls differ?
Nothing says the dual-layer cushions are 50% softer and adapt better to glasses than those on the original Headphone (1). It also describes the headband as 10% wider with 12% thicker padding. These are manufacturer comparisons; they do not establish a fit outcome for every head shape or glasses frame.
