There is no clear universal winner between Nominalia and GoDaddy based on the available plan information. In the euro-market pages reviewed on October 7, 2026, Nominalia lists more storage at each displayed shared-hosting tier, while GoDaddy lists more websites on its higher tiers and a lower advertised entry price with a stated one-year term. Their backup schedules also differ. Compare the terms for your country, especially renewal pricing, before choosing.
How the displayed shared-hosting plans compare
The figures below are promotional displays on the providers’ regional English pages, accessed October 7, 2026. They are not a guarantee of current checkout pricing or future renewals.

| Provider and plan | Displayed price and stated term | Websites | NVMe storage | Backup information |

| Nominalia Advanced | €4.17/month plus VAT; page marks the offer as 75% off the displayed higher rate. Billing term not stated. | 5 | 200 GB | Hourly backups; plan matrix shows the last 12 hours. |
| Nominalia Expert | €7.09/month plus VAT; page marks the offer as 75% off the displayed higher rate. Billing term not stated. | 10 | 500 GB | Hourly backups; plan matrix shows the last 24 hours. |
| GoDaddy Economy | €2.19/month for the first one-year term; higher displayed price €10.99. | 1 | 25 GB | Automatic daily backups; GoDaddy says recovery can restore the account from the previous day. |
| GoDaddy Deluxe | €7.49/month; higher displayed price €15.99. The regional page lists the Economy first-term duration; confirm Deluxe billing terms at checkout. | 10 | 50 GB | Automatic daily backups; GoDaddy says recovery can restore the account from the previous day. |
| GoDaddy Ultimate | €9.99/month; higher displayed price €19.99. The regional page lists the Economy first-term duration; confirm Ultimate billing terms at checkout. | 25 | 75 GB | Automatic daily backups; GoDaddy says recovery can restore the account from the previous day. |
Nominalia’s page describes the displayed rates as promotional prices, while GoDaddy explicitly gives Economy’s first one-year term. The billing conditions are therefore not established as equivalent. The higher displayed figures are not a substitute for checking each plan’s renewal price and billing period in your own account country.
Which provider fits your site portfolio?
Choose by storage and site count
On the displayed tiers, Nominalia offers 50, 200, or 500 GB for one, five, or ten websites. GoDaddy lists 25, 50, or 75 GB for one, ten, or 25 websites. Nominalia’s tiers show more storage; GoDaddy’s upper tiers show higher website counts. For multiple small sites, the site allowance may matter more. For large media libraries or other storage-heavy workloads, compare the storage allowance and its practical limits before buying.
#1 Best Overall
Check the required technology
Nominalia describes its shared service as Linux hosting and names PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, and MySQL compatibility, as well as WordPress, PrestaShop, and Joomla. GoDaddy’s regional hosting page lists cPanel and Node.js. Its shared cPanel comparison page says shared hosting has no root access, so it may not suit a workload that requires server-level control. Verify the specific plan supports the versions and configuration your application needs.
Backups, security, and support are different kinds of claims
Backup frequency and restore points
Nominalia describes hourly copies, with its plan matrix showing 12 hours of history on Starter and Advanced and 24 hours on Expert. GoDaddy says its plans include daily automatic backups and recovery from the previous day. Neither general feature description settles every operational detail: check retention, restore limits, and whether restoring files, databases, or a whole account is covered for your plan.
Security and availability language
Nominalia advertises Security Shield, which it says scans daily for infected files and vulnerabilities and helps keep sites online during DDoS attacks. GoDaddy’s regional page advertises SSL, and its comparison page describes network security and DDoS protection. These are provider descriptions, not independent security audits.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →GoDaddy also advertises a 99.9% uptime guarantee. A guarantee is a contractual claim whose practical value depends on its terms and remedy; it is not proof of measured uptime. The company’s page also says its data centers are in North America and Europe. Neither provider’s retrieved page supplies a matched independent performance benchmark. GoDaddy’s “up to 2x faster” wording is its own claim and notes that results vary by region, so it does not establish that GoDaddy will be faster for your site.
Support channels
Nominalia advertises chat, telephone, and ticket support. GoDaddy’s regional page advertises round-the-clock hosting help. These listings describe channels and availability claims, not comparative response times or support outcomes.
How to make a fair price comparison
- Set the same country and currency. The figures above come from euro-market pages; other markets may show different plans, prices, or terms.
- Compare the same billing period. GoDaddy’s Economy display specifies the first one-year term. Nominalia’s listed monthly prices are plus VAT, and the page does not establish an equivalent billing term. Confirm the payment schedule for each plan.
- Check renewal and checkout totals. Promotions can make first-term rates poor indicators of ongoing cost. Review the renewal price, tax, and any required add-ons before paying.
- Verify the exact plan limits. Confirm website count, storage, supported technologies, backup retention, and restore rules for the selected plan and country.
Nominalia’s separate domain-fee schedule concerns domain registrations, not hosting renewals, so it cannot answer the hosting renewal-price question.

Nominalia is the stronger apparent fit if the listed storage and hourly backup schedule match your needs and its checkout and renewal terms work for your budget. GoDaddy is worth considering if you need the larger listed website allowance on its higher tiers, or if its cPanel and Node.js offering fits your stack. GoDaddy’s displayed Economy offer is lower than Nominalia Starter’s displayed monthly figure, but their stated billing and tax conditions differ. Choose only after checking the live country-specific terms; the available information does not establish a tested speed or reliability winner.
