Nintendo announced Hello, Mario! for the U.S. on February 19, 2026, and announced Hello, Yoshi! in an April 9, 2026 update. The company’s descriptions establish that these are free apps; they do not present them as large, traditional Switch games.

What is My Mario?
My Mario is a broader collection of products, games, and experiences designed for young children and their parents to explore and play together. Nintendo’s U.S. launch announcement introduced the line, while its April 2026 update added more items. The current My Mario page describes the collection as intended for babies and young children.
The line began earlier in Japan: Nintendo’s August 8, 2025 announcement set an initial Japanese release for August 26, 2025, at Nintendo TOKYO, OSAKA, and KYOTO, with selected products planned for markets outside Japan beginning in 2026. The U.S. launch followed on February 19, 2026, initially at Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO. Nintendo said products would begin arriving at select U.S. retailers in spring and expand during the year.

What else is in the My Mario line?
The physical products are separate from the free apps; Nintendo does not describe them as bundled with the downloads.
- Wooden blocks: The U.S. launch named a three-piece Mario Wood Block Set and a 30-piece Mario & Friends Wood Block Set. The April update added three-piece Peach, Yoshi, and Luigi sets.
- Books: The line includes the Hello, Mario! board book; Nintendo later described an interactive version of the book.
- Soft toys and clothing: Nintendo listed infant and toddler clothing, Mario plush, and soft toys including rattles.
- Bath toys: The launch announcement included TOMY Toomies bath toys and water squirters.
- Stop-motion videos: Nintendo listed the “It’s Me, Mario!” stop-motion series and announced another episode in April 2026.
Nintendo named Mattel Fisher-Price and TOMY as partners for the U.S. collection. It says the Peach, Yoshi, and Luigi wooden blocks can also function as amiibo figures in games compatible with Super Mario amiibo figures. That compatibility applies to those named character blocks; Nintendo’s announcement does not establish that every My Mario product has amiibo functionality.

Where can families find the apps and products?
Nintendo’s current My Mario page lists the Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO stores and select retailers. Nintendo says more products will be released regularly, and notes that stock and regional availability may vary. The rollout is not evidence that every item is sold in every country; the Japanese and U.S. announcements describe different launches.
