What Newegg’s return terms mean for PC parts
Check the component’s own return window
Newegg’s policy lists 15 days for some computer categories, including desktop PCs, notebooks, and monitors, and 30 days for “all other products.” That does not mean every PC part has the same window: the listing’s Warranty & Returns tab is the relevant place to check. Account for condition and possible fees
Newegg says a 15% restocking fee may apply to opened returns in selected categories, including hard drives, motherboards, and graphics cards. The policy treats unopened items and products received damaged or defective differently, so check the item’s terms and the applicable return route rather than assuming the same fee applies in every case. Know who handles the return label
Newegg says items up to 50 pounds can be eligible for free return shipping labels, subject to exceptions and item-specific conditions. How to read Amazon’s return terms

Treat that as a general policy description, not a guarantee that every component listing has the same deadline. Keep the retailer return window separate from the warranty
A return window is the period in which the retailer may accept a return under its terms. A manufacturer’s warranty is a separate route for covered defects, with its own duration, eligibility rules, and claim process. Newegg says most products it sells have both return-policy coverage and manufacturer warranty details, and directs buyers to the product page for the terms and manufacturer contact.
