How to Install an Unofficial Windows XP Driver for the NVIDIA TITAN Xp

SupraGSX Forceware 382.69 is an unofficial Windows XP 32-bit option that lists TITAN Xp in its INF additions, but that is not proof of model-specific operation.

The community-made Forceware 382.69 package is the unofficial option documented for 32-bit Windows XP. Its README includes the TITAN Xp in added desktop INF entries, but explicitly says, “These are INF additions, not individual validation of every model.” That means the installer may recognize the card; it does not prove a successful installation or stable operation. The package is not an NVIDIA-supported TITAN Xp driver, and its modified display files lack the original NVIDIA catalog authentication.

What the XP driver supports—and what it does not establish

SupraGSX describes Forceware 382.69 as a custom 32-bit Windows XP release based on NVIDIA 368.81. Its README, updated October 3, 2026, lists the TITAN Xp among desktop INF additions. An INF file maps a device identifier to a driver package, so this entry is evidence that the package is configured to recognize the card if its hardware ID matches—not evidence of a successful install, acceleration, working outputs, or stable use.

The project README cautions: “These are INF additions, not individual validation of every model.” The project documentation reviewed does not establish a TITAN Xp-specific installation or stable-operation test. Its reported validation for named configurations should not be treated as a result for this individual card.

Check the Windows XP edition first

This package is for 32-bit Windows XP, not XP Professional x64 Edition. NVIDIA’s official Windows XP/2000 driver archive is historical and does not establish official TITAN Xp support. NVIDIA’s TITAN Xp user guide describes the ordinary NVIDIA driver workflow, not an XP-specific installation route. Keep that official guidance separate from this community-modified package.

Install the unofficial package

Get the current package only from the SupraGSX release page; avoid repackaged downloads. The project can change, so check its release information before downloading. Then follow its documented installation path:

  1. Run the downloaded outer executable and use the NVIDIA installer it launches. Alternatively, extract the package and run setup.exe from the extracted folder.
  2. Complete the installer prompts. If Windows reports a signature or authenticity warning, do not assume that the modified files are authenticated by NVIDIA.
  3. Restart Windows XP when setup finishes.
  4. Open Device Manager and check whether the TITAN Xp appears correctly. Separately test basic display output and the graphics behavior you need; device recognition alone does not confirm those functions.

Understand the security and support trade-off

The rebuild guide says the modified display files are no longer authenticated by the original NVIDIA catalog signatures. The project documents its build changes and checks, but the documentation reviewed does not establish an independent security audit or an individual TITAN Xp safety review. Installing a modified driver means accepting risks that do not apply in the same way to an unmodified, officially supported package; do not treat it as NVIDIA-certified or supported.

  • New 72 RT cores for acceleration of ray-tracing
  • 576 Tensor Cores for AI acceleration

The build guide describes the package’s inputs as the exact NVIDIA 368.81 Windows XP 32-bit international installer plus selected firmware and resource donor modules from specified x86 Quadro 376.84 and GeForce 378.78 packages. Those donor modules are build inputs, not instructions to install the Windows 7/8 driver stacks on XP.

How to judge the result

  • Installer recognizes the card: this is consistent with an INF match, but not proof of working graphics.
  • Device Manager reports an error or the display behaves incorrectly: the available project documentation does not promise a fix for every TITAN Xp system. Do not rely on the setup as successful solely because it completed.
  • Basic display works: test the specific graphics features and applications you require before relying on the card. The project distinguishes installation checks from rendering validation.

If you need a driver with confirmed NVIDIA support for this card and operating system, the sources cited here do not establish one for TITAN Xp on Windows XP. Forceware 382.69 is a community-modified possibility for XP 32-bit, not a confirmed compatibility solution.
