To customize camera settings more fully, guides report that you need to do it from a MyCAREER or Play Now game, then accept the prompt to save the camera for all modes.
Change the camera during a Park game
- While playing a Park game, press Right on the D-pad to open the camera options overlay.
- Cycle through the available camera styles with LB/RB on Xbox or L1/R1 on PlayStation.
- Return to the game and check whether the new angle gives you the court view you want.
This is the quick way to switch presets. For the full set of camera adjustments, NBA2KLab says to use a MyCAREER or Play Now game; the Park, Rec, and Pro-Am modes do not offer the same full customization controls. See NBA2KLab’s camera controls guide.

Customize camera settings and save them
- Enter a MyCAREER or Play Now game and pause it.
- Open Camera, then choose a style and adjust its available parameters.
- Back out of the camera settings. When the game asks whether to save the changes for all modes, select Yes.
- Return to Park and check the camera. Guide-reported behavior says a saved MyCAREER camera profile can carry into Park, Rec, and Pro-Am.
The exact menu labels and save prompt can vary by game build. The cross-mode behavior is reported by player guides, not confirmed in an official camera manual, so check the setting again after an update. NerdsChalk’s Park camera guide describes the Park overlay and profile behavior.

Zoom 1 and Height 10 are a suggested starting point, not required values or a guaranteed advantage. Adjust them to your preference. The comparison is qualitative rather than based on controlled performance testing. NBA2KLab lists its preset guidance.

What the Park camera overlay controls do
NerdsChalk lists these fields in the Park overlay. Their exact availability and behavior should be checked in your current build, because an official camera manual confirming this list was not available.
- Zoom: Changes how close the camera appears to the action.
- Height: Changes the camera’s elevation.
- Key Zoom: Adjusts zoom behavior around key moments or areas of play.
- Rev Angle: Changes the camera angle.
- Auto Flip: Controls whether the view flips with the direction of play.
- Fix Height: Keeps the camera height fixed rather than allowing it to vary.
- Flip Style: Changes how the camera flips between directions.
The guide says to use the D-pad to move down the list and adjust values, and notes a Reset to Default option. If an adjustment makes the view less readable, restore the default or return to the preset and change one value at a time.

Why the camera setting may not carry into Park
If your Park view does not match the profile you edited, first confirm that you accepted the save-for-all-modes prompt, then reopen Park and check the setting. If it still differs, revisit the camera menu in MyCAREER or Play Now and save again. Updates can change menus or persistence behavior, and the available guides do not establish that every adjusted value persists in every build.
