nateraw/autotune is a voice pitch-correction model you can run through Replicate’s API: send it an audio-file URL and a scale value, then retrieve the processed audio from the returned URL. It is not documented as a DAW plugin, and the available schema does not establish the advanced controls found in dedicated vocal-processing software.
What the model does—and what it does not promise
Replicate describes the model’s purpose as “pitch correction on your voice.” It runs on CPU, and Replicate also documents local execution with Docker. The reviewed model page and API schema do not describe a DAW plugin, specific editing controls, processing method, or measurable correction quality, so those capabilities should not be assumed.

The model page currently has no README. The available documentation also does not establish accepted audio formats, duration limits, privacy or retention terms, or the license for local use. Check the current model and API pages before relying on any of those details.

- A Replicate account and API token.
- An audio file accessible to the API through a URL. The example URL below is illustrative only; use a URL for your own audio.
- A value for the string input named
scale. Replicate’s API example usesGb:min. - A client such as Replicate’s Python or Node.js library, or a direct HTTP request.
The schema labels scale as “Strategy for normalizing audio,” while the sample value resembles a musical key and mode. The documentation does not explain how this value affects processing; treat Gb:min as an example input, not a confirmed instruction about the model’s musical behavior.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Run it with Python
- Create or retrieve an API token from your Replicate account and configure it as required by the Replicate client.
- Install the Python client using Replicate’s current installation instructions.
- Call the version-pinned model with your audio URL and a scale value:
import replicate
output = replicate.run(
"nateraw/autotune:53d58aea27ccd949e5f9d77e4b2a74ffe90e1fa534295b257cea50f011e233dd",
input={
"scale": "Gb:min",
"audio_file": "https://example.com/your-audio.wav"
}
)
print(output.url)
The audio URL shown is a placeholder, not a working or tested recording. Replace it with a URL that points to your own input file. The pinned version identifies the specific model version used in Replicate’s example; consult the model page if you want to use a different version.
On success, the output is a URI, and the API example retrieves it as output.url. The schema lists output_format with a default of wav; it does not establish additional format options or input-format compatibility.

Node.js and HTTP options
Replicate’s API guide also provides Node.js and HTTP examples. Each follows the same basic sequence: authenticate with your Replicate API token, submit the version-pinned model with an audio-file URI and scale, then use the returned output URL. Follow the exact request syntax in the official examples for your chosen method rather than assuming the Python object shape transfers unchanged to HTTP.
Run the model locally with Docker
Replicate says the model can also be run locally with Docker. The reviewed documentation does not provide a README, so it does not establish a complete local setup procedure, Docker commands, dependencies, license terms, or whether local inputs are handled differently from hosted predictions. Use the model page’s current Docker instructions and confirm the applicable terms before running it outside Replicate.

Timing and cost are estimates
On Replicate’s model page snapshot accessed October 7, 2026, the displayed estimates were approximately $0.0061 per run and a typical completion time of 61 seconds. Replicate says cost varies with inputs and prediction time can vary significantly; another page snapshot showed different estimates. Treat both figures as volatile estimates, not a quoted price or service-level guarantee. Replicate also notes that the first hosted API call may take longer while the model boots.

The model needs an audio file, but Replicate’s documentation does not require a particular microphone or identify compatible recording hardware. An existing recording or a built-in microphone may be enough to create an input file; a USB microphone is only an optional way to record vocals, not a model requirement.
