The Mountain Buggy Duet 3.0’s main appeal is a side-by-side double layout that is narrower than many double strollers: CHOICE lists it at 65 cm wide overall, while one retailer lists 63 cm across the wheelbase. Those are different measurement points, not proof it will fit every doorway or aisle. The trade-off is full-size-double weight and seats listed at 30 cm wide, so measure your access points, car boot and child fit before buying.
What the Duet 3.0 review evidence establishes
CHOICE has a review record for the Duet 3.0 and publicly shows categories including maneuvering, folding, basket loading and safety tests. Its expert rating and detailed results are available to members, not on the publicly visible page. The presence of those categories does not establish a pass, a score or a particular performance result.

The specifications below come from two different sources and should not be merged into a single supposedly definitive measurement. CHOICE lists the stroller at 16.3 kg and 65 cm wide overall. A retailer listing gives 14.7 kg and 63 cm at the wheelbase. The figures differ, and the sources do not establish that their weighing or measurement methods are identical.

Will it fit through your doorway, aisle or lift?
CHOICE gives dimensions of 99 × 65 × 136 cm (H × W × D); a retailer lists the wheelbase width as 63 cm. Because overall width and wheelbase width describe different measurement points, use the larger overall figure as the more cautious access check, then measure the stroller’s route in your home and usual destinations. Include tight turns and lift doors, not just the straight opening.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
A stroller’s listed width cannot guarantee a fit in every doorway. Measure the narrowest point the stroller must pass through, and allow room to maneuver rather than relying on a nominal opening measurement.

How it may work for children and everyday use
Two side-by-side seats
The layout suits families who want two children seated alongside one another, including twins and siblings close in age. The retailer lists each seat as 30 cm wide. Check shoulder and clothing room for your children, not only the 18 kg-per-seat maximum; weight capacity alone does not establish a comfortable fit.

Newborn configuration and accessories
A retailer listing describes Carrycot Plus as an optional configuration, not an item guaranteed in every package. Mountain Buggy’s current Duet-family page says Carrycot Plus for twins is compatible with Duet, but that family-level information does not establish compatibility with every Duet 3.0 unit or accessory generation. Before buying, confirm the exact stroller generation, attachment and relevant manual with the seller or manufacturer.

Wheels, brakes and folding claims
A retailer describes four 10-inch air-filled tires, suspension, independent seat recline, a hand brake for speed control, a foot-operated parking brake and a one-hand fold. These are listing claims rather than independently reported observations here. If terrain, braking or folding convenience is central to your decision, verify the exact unit and try the controls and fold before purchase where possible.
What to check before choosing it
- Access: Measure the narrowest doorway, aisle or lift opening on your regular route and consider turning space.
- Transport: CHOICE lists 16.3 kg. Check the folded stroller against your car boot and consider whether you can lift it onto stairs or into a vehicle.
- Child fit: Compare the retailer-listed 30 cm seat width with your children’s size and likely clothing, as well as the 18 kg-per-seat limit.
- Newborn setup: Confirm what is included, which carrycot or adapter fits that specific Duet 3.0, and whether the configuration suits your needs.
- Used or older stock: Check the model generation, condition, included parts and manual before relying on a current accessory page.
Who is it best suited to?
The Duet 3.0 is worth considering if you need two side-by-side seats and a relatively narrow footprint is a priority. The strongest reasons to pause are frequent stairs, restricted boot space, children who may need more seat width, or a newborn arrangement that depends on a particular accessory. Its listed width may improve access compared with wider doubles, but measuring your own route is the practical way to determine fit.
