1. Restart the phone and compare similar days
Battery life varies with how you use your phone. Navigation, games, browsing, calls and messaging all consume power, so compare days with roughly similar use before deciding the phone has developed a fault. Motorola’s Razr Ultra 2025 user guide recommends a reboot as a quick first step, particularly if the phone has not been restarted in more than a week.

- Hold Power + Volume up.
- Tap Restart.
- Charge the phone normally after it restarts.
2. Find what is using the battery
Open Settings > Battery > Battery usage. The list shows apps and features consuming power since the last full charge. Look for an item that recently changed or seems unusually high for your normal use, then tap it to review the available power controls. Motorola’s battery-life guidance advises leaving Manage background apps enabled unless you have a specific reason to change it.
3. Reduce optional battery use
Choose adjustments that fit how you use the phone. Some conserve power at the cost of convenience or functionality.

- Screen: Lower brightness, enable Dark theme, and shorten the screen timeout.
- Connections: Turn off Bluetooth and GPS when you are not using them; use Wi-Fi when it is available.
- Sync: Turn off automatic sync only if you are comfortable with delayed notifications and checking email manually.
- Video features (2026 model guidance): Motorola’s Razr Ultra 2026 guide says Video resolution and Dynamic Video Enhancement use extra battery power. If those features are enabled, turn them off when charge is low. This guidance is specific to the 2026 guide; it does not establish the same controls for every Razr Ultra generation.
4. Use Battery Saver when you need to stretch a charge
Battery Saver is a temporary way to conserve power when you cannot charge soon. It can help you get through a low-battery period, but it does not identify or fix the cause of unusually fast drain. Combine it with reduced screen use and other optional settings that you can comfortably do without.
5. Contact support if the drain persists
If restarting, checking Battery usage and adjusting optional settings do not resolve the problem, use Motorola’s Razr Ultra 2025 support page to find support and check warranty or repair options. Confirm that any repair applies to your exact model. Motorola describes iFixit self-repair kits for some devices, but the cited support information does not confirm a battery kit for every Razr Ultra variant. For a foldable phone, do not assume a kit fits or attempt to open the device without confirming compatibility and your ability to complete the repair; Motorola cautions that self-repair damage may affect standard warranty coverage.
