The Xiaomi 17T has a 5x optical periscope camera and a larger listed battery; the Motorola Edge 60 Pro counters with a higher-resolution ultrawide and selfie camera, faster stated wired charging, and wireless charging. In a 91mobiles India listing snapshot accessed October 4, 2026, the displayed prices differed by ₹39,809, but the listings may not match by configuration, seller, or offer. Treat that figure as a snapshot—not a fixed price gap.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro vs Xiaomi 17T: specifications
The table compares manufacturer-published specifications. The Motorola figures come from its US support page, which notes that specifications can vary by market; Xiaomi’s page is global and also notes some regional feature variations. Check the exact variant sold in your country before buying.

Camera hardware: longer optical reach or higher-resolution wide views
The Xiaomi 17T’s 50MP periscope telephoto is specified for 5x optical reach, compared with the Edge 60 Pro’s 10MP 3x optical telephoto. That makes Xiaomi’s listed telephoto hardware the more ambitious option for distant subjects. Motorola instead lists 50MP ultrawide and front cameras, versus Xiaomi’s 12MP ultrawide and 32MP front camera. Megapixel counts and lens reach do not establish which phone takes better photos; that requires comparable image samples or testing.

Xiaomi describes the 17T’s periscope as a first for Xiaomi T-series models with a display size of 6.59 inches or smaller, based on Xiaomi products released before launch—not an industry-wide first. Xiaomi’s product page gives that qualification.
Battery capacity, charging, and adapters
Xiaomi lists the larger typical battery capacity at 6500mAh, while Motorola lists 6000mAh and a higher wired charging rate: 90W versus Xiaomi’s 67W. Motorola also lists 15W wireless charging. Xiaomi specifies 50W PPS compatibility and up to 22.5W wired reverse charging, but says an adapter is not included. These specifications do not establish real-world endurance or charging time, which depend on conditions and compatible equipment.
If buying the Xiaomi, check the local box contents and charger compatibility. Xiaomi recommends its 67W adapter or above; actual charging depends on PPS compatibility and other conditions.

Screen, build, and everyday handling
Both list 1.5K-resolution displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz and Gorilla Glass 7i. Xiaomi’s screen is 6.59 inches and AMOLED; Motorola’s is 6.7 inches and quad-curved pOLED. The Edge is listed at 186g, 14g lighter than Xiaomi’s 200g. Size and curvature are personal preferences, not proof of overall display quality.
The listed ingress ratings are IP68 for Xiaomi and IP68/IP69 for Motorola’s US variant documentation. An ingress rating is not a promise that a phone is waterproof; follow the manufacturer’s conditions and verify the rating for the local model.
Performance, memory, and storage
The phones use different MediaTek chips: Dimensity 8500-Ultra in Xiaomi and Dimensity 8350 Extreme in Motorola. Chip names or process descriptions alone cannot settle which feels faster in use. A 91mobiles comparison page includes benchmark summaries, but the available information does not establish reproducible testing conditions. Compare the exact RAM and storage tier available locally: Xiaomi lists 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage, while Motorola’s US support page lists 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Neither cited specification page lists expandable card storage.
Software support
Motorola’s US support page promises three OS upgrades and four years of security patches. The Xiaomi global specification page does not state a comparable support duration; that omission does not show that Xiaomi has no support commitment. Check each manufacturer’s current policy for the specific market and variant before using update longevity as a deciding factor.

A 91mobiles India comparison page displayed ₹30,190 for the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and ₹69,999 for the Xiaomi 17T when accessed on October 4, 2026. Subtracting those displayed figures gives a ₹39,809 difference, with the Xiaomi listing higher. These are dynamic marketplace listings, not official prices, and may reflect different configurations, sellers, or offers. View the 91mobiles comparison and verify both listings before purchase.
For a meaningful comparison, check both phones in the same country and at the same retailer, matching RAM and storage, seller, warranty, and offer conditions. The listed gap should not be generalized to another market or treated as a stable price difference.
Gadgets 360 reports India release dates of May 28, 2026 for Xiaomi 17T and April 24, 2025 for Motorola Edge 60 Pro. Those dates indicate the relative timing reported for India, not availability in every country. See the Gadgets 360 comparison.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider Xiaomi 17T if a 5x optical periscope, a larger listed battery, or 512GB storage matters most to you, and the local price and variant make sense.
- Consider Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you want a 50MP ultrawide and front camera, lighter listed weight, faster stated wired charging, wireless charging, or Motorola’s published US-page update commitment.
- Compare local offers rather than relying on the India snapshot if price is decisive. Match storage, seller, warranty, and discounts before calculating the difference.
Neither specification sheet establishes an overall camera, speed, endurance, or value winner. The best fit depends on which listed trade-offs matter in your market and on the actual price of the configuration you would buy.
