Display and size
The Edge 60 Neo has a 6.36-inch pOLED panel with a 2670 × 1220 resolution and 460 pixels per inch. Motorola’s launch announcement rounds the screen size to 6.4 inches; 6.36 inches is the more precise figure on its support specification page.
The display supports HDR10+, 10-bit colour, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and an adaptive LTPO refresh rate up to 120Hz. Motorola lists peak brightness at 3000 nits. That is a manufacturer specification, not a result from an independent brightness test.

At 154.11 × 71.24 × 8.09 mm and 174.5g, the phone is relatively compact and light compared with many current smartphones. Those dimensions can help when comparing pocketability, but they do not establish how comfortable it will feel in every hand.
Processor, RAM and storage
Motorola lists a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. Which memory and storage combinations are sold depends on the market. Check the exact regional SKU rather than assuming that a retailer’s configuration is offered everywhere.
Camera specifications: a dedicated 3× telephoto
The rear camera system includes three distinct cameras:
- Main: 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
- Ultrawide: 13MP camera with a 120° field of view and macro capability.
- Telephoto: 10MP camera with OIS and 3× optical zoom.
The dedicated telephoto lens is the key distinction for anyone comparing camera hardware: it provides 3× optical zoom, rather than relying only on cropping the main camera’s image. Motorola also advertises up to 30× Super Zoom; that is a separate zoom claim and should not be confused with the telephoto camera’s 3× optical zoom.
The front camera is 32MP with an f/2.4 aperture. These specifications describe the listed hardware, not comparative photo quality; no independent camera testing is established here.
Battery and charging
Motorola lists a 5,000mAh battery, up to 68W TurboPower wired charging and up to 15W wireless charging. These are capacity and charging-rate specifications, not a promise of a particular battery runtime or charge time.
The 68W wired charging claim requires a Motorola TurboPower 68W charger, which Motorola says is sold separately. Motorola’s launch announcement says median users can get up to 12 hours of battery life from seven minutes of charging only when the battery is substantially depleted and Charge Boost is enabled; it also says charging slows as the battery fills. Treat this as Motorola’s conditional claim, not a general charge-time guarantee.

For wireless charging, Motorola’s user guide says a Qi-certified charger is sold separately. The sources cited here do not establish the full in-box accessory bundle for every region, so confirm the local listing if the included charger matters to you.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Durability: what IP69, IP68 and MIL-STD-810H do—and do not—mean
Motorola advertises IP69/IP68 water- and dust-resistance ratings and says the phone was tested against 16 categories and 14 MIL-STD-810H procedures. These are manufacturer claims based on testing, not a promise that the handset is waterproof, indestructible or covered for every kind of damage.
Motorola says its water, splash and dust testing took place under controlled laboratory conditions. Its launch announcement describes submersion in up to 1.2 metres of still, fresh water for up to 30 minutes and protection against powerful, high-temperature water jets for up to 30 seconds. It explicitly says the device is not designed to work while submerged underwater and is not waterproof. Resistance can decrease with normal wear; exposure to liquids other than fresh water is not allowed.
Motorola also cautions that abuse like the MIL-STD-810H testing is not covered under its standard warranty and that laboratory testing cannot guarantee future performance. Do not treat the test count as a guarantee against drops, wear or damage in everyday use.

The listed wireless features include 5G sub-6, Wi-Fi 6E and NFC. Motorola lists dual SIM as one nano-SIM plus eSIM. Network bands and carrier compatibility can differ by regional model, so verify them against your carrier before purchase, particularly if importing the phone.
Audio features include stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos, with USB Type-C audio. Motorola’s specification listing does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Android version and update commitment
The US support specification lists Android 15. Separately, Motorola’s UK product page says the Edge 60 Neo will receive four years of Android OS upgrades. That is a UK-page commitment: it does not establish the same policy for every market, nor does it specify a security-patch end date.
Quick Recap
What to verify before buying
- Confirm the exact local version, RAM and storage configuration.
- Check supported 5G bands and carrier compatibility for your country.
- Review the software support terms stated for your market, rather than assuming the UK upgrade commitment applies globally.
- Check whether a 68W TurboPower charger or Qi-certified wireless charger is included; Motorola identifies both charging accessories as separately sold.
- Read the local warranty and care terms, and treat the IP and MIL-STD claims as bounded test ratings rather than guarantees against damage.
