The Motorola Edge 40’s reported scores are 981,459 in AnTuTu Benchmark 11, 1,120 single-core and 3,665 multi-core in Geekbench 6, and 16,124 in PCMark 3.0, according to NanoReview. These are third-party results, not scores or performance guarantees published by Motorola. Individual runs can differ, and benchmark versions matter—especially when comparing Geekbench results.

What other submitted runs show
AnTuTu 11 results vary between submissions
NanoReview also lists dated AnTuTu 11 user submissions ranging from 947,213 on March 5, 2026, to 1,022,272 on August 22, 2026. These are individual submissions, not a controlled test range or a guarantee of typical performance. The 981,459 summary figure is not identified with a specific run date on the page.
A Geekbench 6.7.1 run is a separate result
A Geekbench Browser submission uploaded September 10, 2026 reports 1,122 single-core and 3,155 multi-core for Geekbench 6.7.1 on Android 15. It is close to NanoReview’s single-core figure but lower in multi-core. The two entries are separate reported results, not a controlled comparison of the same run.

Keep Geekbench versions separate
Geekbench scores use version-specific scales. Geekbench’s device chart currently shows the Edge 40 at 691 single-core and 2,784 multi-core in Geekbench 7, alongside submitted Geekbench 6 chart data. Do not compare those Geekbench 7 numbers directly with the Geekbench 6 results above as if the scales were interchangeable. Check the version shown on both results before drawing a comparison.
PCMark score and component results
NanoReview reports a PCMark 3.0 total of 16,124. Its listed component scores are web 15,979, video editing 7,875, photo editing 46,444, data manipulation 10,609 and writing 18,299. The summary does not provide a test date or protocol for these figures, so treat them as a listing rather than a controlled comparison with another phone.

How to interpret or compare these scores
The Edge 40’s Dimensity 8020 and 8 GB RAM provide configuration context, but they do not make results from different test setups directly equivalent. Firmware, benchmark-app version, temperature, background activity and the device’s condition can affect a run; the cited summary listings do not document a common controlled protocol.
Recommended Free Tools
- Compare the same benchmark and version, and the same metric: for example, Geekbench single-core with single-core, not with multi-core.
- For AnTuTu, compare total scores from the same AnTuTu version.
- For PCMark, use the same PCMark version and sufficiently similar test conditions; a total score alone does not establish a fair cross-device comparison.
- Read user-submitted results as individual samples, not as a promise of the score your handset will achieve.
Motorola’s official Edge 40 specifications identify the Dimensity 8020, 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256 GB storage, a 4,400 mAh battery, 68 W wired TurboPower charging and 15 W wireless charging. The company’s 2023 launch announcement describes the chipset as powering activities including video and gaming; that is manufacturer marketing, not benchmark evidence. The announcement also said the wireless charger was sold separately and listed a starting European launch MSRP of €599.99, which is historical launch pricing rather than a current price.
