The Moto G85 and Moto G57 Power split on one clear trade-off. The G85 lists a 144 Hz pOLED screen, while the G57 Power lists a larger 7,000 mAh battery. Both are listed with 33 W TurboPower charging. These are the figures on Motorola’s India specification pages, checked in 2026. They are published specifications, not independent tests of screen quality or real-world battery life. A true price difference cannot be calculated from the evidence available, because the two prices come from different markets and price types.
Specifications side by side
The table below uses Motorola’s India regional specification pages for both phones. Where a value was not stated on the page checked, the table says so rather than filling the gap.

Display: pOLED at 144 Hz or a larger LCD at 120 Hz
The G85 uses a pOLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The G57 Power uses an LCD panel at 120 Hz, with a diagonal about 0.05 inch larger. Both share the same 2400 × 1080 resolution, so the size difference is small. The panel type and refresh rate are the factors most likely to change how the screen looks and feels in use. The published specifications do not show how either screen performs in colour accuracy, brightness or viewing angles, so no winner can be named on display quality from these sources alone.
Battery: a 7,000 mAh rating against 5,000 mAh
The G57 Power’s rated capacity is 40% higher than the G85’s. A rated capacity is a laboratory-style figure printed on the specification page, not a promise of hours of use. Screen refresh rate, brightness, network signal and app load all change how quickly the battery drains. A 144 Hz display generally draws more power than a 120 Hz one, so the G85’s screen settings will matter when judging its endurance. Both phones are listed with 33 W charging, but neither listing states how long a full charge takes.

Chipset and software
The G57 Power is listed with the newer Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and a 4 nm process. The G85 is listed with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 on a 6 nm process. Newer platform labels suggest a later generation, but they do not confirm speed. No benchmark result was established for either phone, so claims that one is faster in everyday use would go beyond the evidence.
On software, the pages list Android 14 for the G85 and Android 16 for the G57 Power. Those were the versions listed when the pages were checked in 2026. Update commitments for each model were not established, so check Motorola’s update information for your region before relying on a long software life.
Durability, regional variants and camera details
- Water resistance: The G85 is listed with IP52. The G57 Power’s rating was not stated on the page checked, so the two cannot be compared directly.
- Market differences: Motorola’s G85 page notes that specifications may vary by market. Network bands, memory options, NFC and whether a charger is in the box should be confirmed for your country.
- Cameras: Camera details were not confirmed well enough in the official specification pages to name a winner. A reliable hands-on review is the better source for camera comparisons.
Price difference: what can and cannot be compared
The available prices come from different markets and different price types, so they do not form a valid price gap.

| Source | Model | Price shown | Market and price type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Motorola India comparison page | Moto G85 | ₹15,999 with ₹20,999 MRP | India; a display on a page whose prices change, not a guaranteed offer |

| Motorola News | Moto G57 Power | €279 recommended retail price | Europe; a recommended price, not a retail price |
Subtracting the euro figure from the rupee figure would compare different currencies, markets and price types. To compare prices, choose one country, check current listings for both phones, and match the storage and memory configuration before comparing.
Which phone fits your priorities
- Choose the Moto G85 if the pOLED panel and 144 Hz refresh rate matter more to you than a larger battery rating, and if the IP52 rating is a useful feature.
- Choose the Moto G57 Power if a higher rated battery capacity is your main priority, and if you prefer the newer listed chipset and Android version.
- Before buying either model, confirm the local variant and network bands, check the current price in your country with the same memory configuration, and read a reliable review for display and camera quality.
Battery claims should be read as rated capacity, not runtime, and speed claims should be read as platform labels, not benchmark results.
