Overrun Quarry is an optional dungeon north of the One-Legged Wolf Beacon. From the Beacon, follow the path through the castle-like ruins, loop back southeast, and look for the entrance near the north side of the destroyed wooden bridge. The exact chest loot is disputed in published guides, so treat specific reward claims as unverified until checked in your current game.
Where is Overrun Quarry?
Overrun Quarry is an optional side dungeon near the One-Legged Wolf Beacon. PowerPyx and NerdsChalk both place it north of the Beacon, in the area around the castle ruins and destroyed wooden bridge. PowerPyx’s location guide and NerdsChalk’s guide describe the same broad landmarks.

Overrun Quarry dungeon route
- Start at the One-Legged Wolf Beacon. If it is already unlocked, use it as your starting point; otherwise, approach the area on foot.
- Follow the route north through the castle-like ruins. Stay on the path through the castle area, then loop back southeast.
- Find the entrance by the destroyed bridge. Look near the north side of the destroyed wooden bridge for the dungeon entrance. Activating the Beacon before going in can provide a nearby respawn point, as NerdsChalk recommends.
NerdsChalk also warns of a glowing pouch nearby that reportedly transports the player to the Citadel of Penance. Treat it as a possible route hazard and avoid interacting with it unless that destination is intended; the claim is guide-reported, not independently verified here.
Overrun Quarry enemies
NerdsChalk describes seven enemies inside, arranged in four encounters. Its count and tactical suggestions are guide claims rather than results of firsthand testing.

- An axe-wielder on higher ground.
- Three enemies grouped on the lower level.
- Two enemies near the far end.
The guide identifies the lower group of three as the trickiest part and recommends separating enemies rather than letting them surround you. It also suggests attempting the dungeon during daytime for a less difficult run. These are recommendations from the guide, not confirmed gameplay findings.
Overrun Quarry rewards: what is and is not established
Published guides conflict about whether the Quarry contains a Winterglass Gem. NerdsChalk says the dungeon rewards include a Synaptic Vessel and weapon-upgrade material, and places the Winterglass Gem in the Hall of Echoes instead. QuestDuo, by contrast, says a chest in the Quarry contains a Winterglass Gem. Because those accounts disagree, the exact chest contents are not established by the available guides; check the chest in your current game build before relying on either claim.

- Winterglass Gem: The guides disagree about whether it is Quarry loot or a Hall of Echoes reward, so its location here is unconfirmed.
NerdsChalk estimates roughly 2,000 gold for the local pocket, including enemies and nearby loot. That is the guide’s area estimate, not a guaranteed amount from a single chest.
