What you need to unlock Mether’s Breath
You need Ova and access to Marrow Keep. Ova are collected during exploration and are associated in the guides with cleansing Beacons. Carrying them alone is not described as completing the unlock: you must return to the hub and use the Gloom Siphon.

The exact threshold is uncertain. NerdsChalk reports that the ability unlocks after 8 Ova, while AllThingsHow gives an approximate range of 7–8. Those are conflicting secondary-guide reports, not a confirmed universal requirement. The practical check is whether Mether’s Breath appears after you deposit your Ova.

- Return to Marrow Keep and go to the Ova Nursery.

Travel between discovered Beacons
At a Beacon, use its menu to travel to destinations represented by Beacons you have discovered and revitalized. The ability does not make undiscovered locations selectable. This is distinct from the Marrow Keep launchpad: NerdsChalk describes that launchpad as a one-way trip from the hub to a Beacon, whereas Mether’s Breath provides direct travel between eligible Beacon destinations. Treat that comparison as guide-reported behavior, since controls and details may change between game builds.

Mether’s Breath is also reported to clear some corruption blockages and reveal paths that were previously inaccessible. The sources do not establish a universal button mapping across platforms; follow the interaction prompt shown in your game when you encounter a barrier.
Return to Marrow Keep from inventory
A separate inventory command can return you to Marrow Keep. The game database reports that this command consumes all Gloom you are carrying and that an in-game warning appears before the return. This is not the same as ordinary Beacon-to-Beacon travel, so read the warning carefully before confirming.
