Monster Nursery is an idle monster-collection game from Mifa Games, released on October 2, 2026. Its central loop is straightforward: hatch eggs, let randomly rarified juveniles mature, sell them for income and fill a 200-entry monster handbook. The official listings say monsters keep growing and earning while you are offline.
How Monster Nursery works
- Hatch eggs. Eggs produce juvenile monsters with random rarities.
- Wait for them to mature. Growth continues while you are away, according to the official Xbox and PlayStation descriptions.
- Sell mature monsters. Sales provide income for the game’s loop.
- Build the handbook. The collection target is 200 monster entries. Xbox describes this as “100 × 2” entries, while PlayStation states 200 directly.
That makes the game’s documented appeal a low-attention cycle of collecting, waiting and earning, rather than a promise of continuous hands-on play. The listings do not detail how rarity affects sale value or growth time.

Does progress continue offline?
Yes. Both official platform listings say monsters continue to grow and earn income when the player is offline. The store descriptions do not specify how long offline progress is credited for or whether any cap applies, so those details should not be assumed.
