There is no confirmed Monster Hunter Rise mobile edition in the official Capcom sources reviewed. That means there is no verified Rise-on-mobile version to compare with the Nintendo Switch game. Rise is documented for Switch; Capcom’s mobile Monster Hunter games, including Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Outlanders, are separate titles—not mobile versions of Rise.
Is Monster Hunter Rise available on iPhone or Android?
Capcom’s Nintendo Switch manual for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak confirms a Switch version. Capcom’s mobile game catalog lists mobile titles such as Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Outlanders, but not Rise. The catalog does not prove that no other listing exists anywhere, so availability could change; however, the official sources reviewed do not confirm a Rise release for iOS or Android.

Why Monster Hunter Now and Outlanders are not Rise on mobile
Monster Hunter Now
Capcom describes Monster Hunter Now as a distinct iOS and Android game built around real-world encounters and location-based technology. Its gameplay, controls, and mobile design should not be taken as evidence of how Rise would work on a phone.
#1 Best Overall

- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*

Monster Hunter Outlanders
Monster Hunter Outlanders is another separate mobile title. Capcom announced its iOS and Android launch for October 29, 2026; that date is still in the future as of October 7, 2026. Capcom describes it as developed by TiMi Studio Group and says its controls are optimized for mobile devices. Those details apply to Outlanders, not Rise.
What can be compared with the Switch version?
Only the platform documentation is clear enough for a limited comparison. Capcom’s Switch manual documents Joy-Con controls for Rise, while its multi-platform manual provides control layouts for other supported platforms. This establishes that controls vary by platform, but it does not establish a Rise touch-control scheme or a mobile version.
Rank #2
- 6.2” LCD screen
- Three play modes: TV, tabletop, and handheld
- Local co-op, online, and local wireless multiplayer
- Detachable Joy-Con controllers
- Nintendo Switch is the home of Mario & friends
Without a confirmed Rise mobile release, claims about mobile graphics, performance, content parity, multiplayer, cross-save, price, supported devices, or regional availability would be speculation. There are no verified mobile Rise specifications to set beside the Switch version.

- Check that Capcom or an authorized publisher is identified, and verify the listing in the relevant country’s official app store.
- Look for the release date, supported devices, price, controls, included content, multiplayer details, and save-transfer terms in the official listing or announcement.
