Look for DMZ access on October 20, 2026. That is the announced start date for early DMZ play. The sources do not specify an unlock time or time zone for DMZ, so check the platform store or game client as the date approaches.

DMZ and Campaign early access are different
Activision Support says Campaign Early Access begins Friday, October 16 (PT). Xbox Wire gives October 20 for DMZ. Buying for Campaign access does not mean DMZ opens on October 16; the two modes have different dates.

Activision says the Vault Edition includes additional content within DMZ through a Deployment Bonus. The cited edition information does not establish the bonus’s detailed contents or value, so treat it as an edition feature—not as a requirement for the announced DMZ early-access date.
What is known about the mode
DMZ is described by the publisher as a mode within Modern Warfare 4. Xbox Wire’s October 9 feature discusses five planned features and provides more official information about the Haijin location. Those announcements describe plans; they are not hands-on evidence of how the mode plays.
