Modal V11 is a free, text-first modal template for showing a short title and block of information—not a ready-made signup or commerce form. It may suit a Bootstrap project, but verify the downloaded files, license, and behavior in your own site before launch.

What Modal V11 is for

Colorlib describes Modal V11 as a minimalist modal centered on a title and text area, suited to extra information about a business, product, or service. It also says the font can be configured. The template is a better fit for a brief explanation than for a multi-step interaction or a form-heavy workflow.

Colorlib’s September 28, 2026 guide to choosing a Bootstrap modal describes Modal V11 as part of a collection of front-end snippets. The article does not give Modal V11 a standalone version number.

What to verify before using it

Compatibility in your project

Colorlib says its collection uses vanilla JavaScript without Bootstrap’s JavaScript or jQuery, and that the templates can be used independently or in Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. Those are collection-level claims, not an independently tested compatibility result for Modal V11. Check the downloaded files and test them with the Bootstrap version and other scripts your site actually uses.

License and attribution

The article says the snippets are available under CC BY 3.0 for personal and commercial use if the credit link is retained. The download package and its license were not inspected here, so check the license supplied with the files before using or modifying the template.

Form submission

The download provides front-end code. If you add a form, its submission will not work just because the modal is present: connect the form to your own backend or a form service, then test successful submission, validation, and error handling.

Make the dialog usable with a keyboard

A modal temporarily interrupts the page, so its opening and closing behavior matters as much as its appearance. Colorlib recommends moving focus into the modal when it opens, keeping Tab navigation inside it, closing with Escape, and returning focus to the button that opened it. Add and test these behaviors rather than assuming a visual template supplies them.

  • Provide an obvious close control.
  • Keep the content concise, especially on small screens, and check that the dialog fits and remains usable on mobile.
  • Avoid opening the popup immediately on page load; let the visitor initiate it through a clear control.
  • Test opening, keyboard navigation, Escape dismissal, and focus return using a keyboard.

Is Modal V11 the right modal pattern?

Choose based on what the visitor needs to do. A text modal is appropriate for a short explanation; a signup, coupon, newsletter, or review modal serves a different purpose. Before choosing, consider the amount of content, form complexity, mobile layout, keyboard and focus behavior, available dismissal methods, and whether a backend connection is required.
