Yes—MLB.TV can be watched on more than one device, but the confirmed simultaneous-stream limit depends on how you subscribe. ESPN says its MLB.TV offer allows live, rewind, or replay viewing on up to three devices at once. That figure is specific to the ESPN-distributed offer; the current limit for subscriptions billed directly by MLB could not be confirmed from accessible MLB guidance.
How many devices can stream MLB.TV at the same time?
For MLB.TV purchased through ESPN, ESPN states: “Stream live, rewind, or replay on up to 3 devices at once.” This is a concurrent-stream allowance for ESPN’s offer, not a verified universal limit for every MLB.TV subscription.

MLB Support lists a “Connected Devices for MLB.TV Subscriptions” article dated August 6, 2026, but its accessible result does not provide the article’s numerical limit. Do not assume that ESPN’s three-device rule applies to an account billed directly by MLB. Check the current terms or support information for the billing route on your account.

Does the subscription route change the answer?
| Subscription route | What is established | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| ESPN-distributed MLB.TV offer | ESPN says up to three devices can stream at once. | This allowance applies to ESPN’s offer, not necessarily to direct MLB billing. |
| Subscription billed directly by MLB | A current numerical simultaneous-stream limit is not stated in the accessible MLB Support result dated August 6, 2026. | Do not rely on an unverified number; consult the current MLB account terms or official support. |
MLB’s 2026 subscription guide says U.S. subscribers can use the MLB app or ESPN app through account linking, and new U.S. subscribers may subscribe through ESPN. International subscribers continue to purchase and stream through MLB. App access and billing are related but distinct: using an app does not by itself establish which service’s stream limit governs your subscription. MLB’s 2026 subscription guide

Supported devices are not the same as simultaneous streams
Device compatibility answers whether you can watch through a particular app or platform. A stream limit answers how many devices can play content at the same time under your subscription. A service listing an app for a television, phone, or streaming device does not mean you get an additional stream for each one.
ESPN lists support for web, iOS, tvOS, Android Mobile, Android TV, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, Samsung TV, LG, Vizio, Roku, Xbox, PlayStation, Xumo, and Cox devices for its offer. ESPN notes that purchase is not available on every device, so you may need to subscribe on the web before signing in on a supported device. See ESPN’s MLB.TV offer and device information

Why a game may not play even when a device slot is free
Stream capacity and game availability are separate. MLB’s season guide says selected regular-season and postseason games are exclusive to national partners and unavailable through MLB.TV or Club.TV. Home-territory blackouts can also prevent a game from streaming in your location. A free device slot therefore does not guarantee that a particular game is watchable. What to check if another device cannot play
- Identify the billing route. Check whether the subscription is billed by ESPN or directly by MLB; do not apply ESPN’s three-device allowance automatically to an MLB-billed account.
- Separate playback from sign-in. The issue may concern concurrent playback rather than the number of devices on which the app is installed or the account is signed in.
- Confirm app and device support. Use a platform listed for your subscription, and subscribe on the web first if purchase is unavailable on the device.
- Check game availability in your location. A blackout or national exclusive can block a game even when your device and stream capacity are otherwise available.
