ITSM Hub’s appeal in New Zealand is its combination of accredited training, consulting and assessment, implementation support, contractor resourcing, and a managed service desk. The company says it expanded into New Zealand in 2022. Its service descriptions explain the attention around the provider, but they do not establish that interest or adoption is rising across the wider New Zealand IT market.
What ITSM Hub offers in New Zealand
ITSM Hub presents four connected service areas: training and certification, consulting and advisory, implementation and delivery, and HubCentre managed services. That breadth may suit teams looking for help across more than one stage of an IT service management (ITSM) initiative. It is a description of the provider’s offer, not evidence that every engagement includes all four areas. ITSM Hub’s New Zealand homepage

Training and certification
The company describes learning options that include virtual, onsite, online, and self-paced formats. Teams evaluating a course should confirm the relevant certification, delivery format, schedule, and whether the course matches their staff’s existing experience.
Consulting, assessment, and implementation
ITSM Hub lists consulting and advisory, assessments, and implementation and delivery support. These services can address different needs: an organisation might seek an assessment and roadmap before committing to implementation, or require delivery capacity for work already planned. The scope and division of responsibilities should be agreed for each engagement.

Contractor resourcing
The provider lists IT contractors in roles including business analysts, project managers, developers, architects, testers, and ITSM practitioners. Teams considering this option should match the role and engagement terms to the work, rather than assuming a contractor placement includes broader implementation ownership. Managed service desk
ITSM Hub describes HubCentre as a managed service desk with 24/7/365 coverage and shared-seat and out-of-hours options. It says HaloITSM is its primary platform. These are provider descriptions, not independent findings on service performance. Confirm the hours, coverage boundaries, escalation arrangements, language needs, platform responsibilities, and service measures in the proposed contract. ITSM Hub’s managed-services page

Why the provider may attract attention
A combined offer can be relevant to teams that need capability building, expert advice, delivery capacity, staffing, or ongoing service desk coverage. The appeal is the possibility of addressing related needs through one provider; whether that is preferable to separate suppliers or an in-house model depends on the organisation’s requirements and procurement criteria.

ITSM Hub says it was founded in Australia in 2013, expanded into New Zealand in 2022, and launched a UK office in 2024. This is the company’s account of its own history. It helps explain its regional positioning but does not show that the New Zealand ITSM market as a whole is paying more attention to the provider. ITSM Hub’s About page

How to assess whether it fits your team
Start with the specific gap you need to address, then compare the proposed scope against alternatives such as internal delivery or separate specialist suppliers.
- Capability building: Check course content, certification, format, and how learning outcomes are evaluated.
- Assessment and roadmap: Agree which processes or services are in scope, what evidence will be reviewed, and what the final recommendations will include.
- Implementation: Define deliverables, dependencies, decision rights, and which responsibilities remain with your team.
- Contractor support: Confirm role requirements, experience, availability, engagement terms, and who manages day-to-day work.
- Managed service desk: Specify coverage hours, channels, escalation paths, operating model, platform fit, security evidence, and performance measures.
For claims about multilingual delivery, ISO 27001, AI augmentation, or service performance, request evidence applicable to the exact service and contract scope. The provider’s descriptions alone do not establish independent assurance or results for a prospective customer.

How to interpret the company’s reported figures
ITSM Hub’s homepage reports the following figures. The company does not state a reporting year for them on the retrieved page; the 97.9% figure is attributed to post-course evaluations, but the page does not show the evaluation period or methodology. Treat these as company-reported statistics, not independently audited measures or sector-wide data. ITSM Hub’s New Zealand homepage
