For a first session, think in three layers:
- Immediate instruction: obey the objective or hint currently displayed by your installed build.
- Local investigation: look for ways around a problem instead of assuming there is one authorized interaction.
- Escape planning: decide whether your next move keeps you underground, on the streets, or above the town while limiting the watcher’s attention.
The last two layers are planning guidance drawn from the official descriptions. They should not be mistaken for an undisclosed mission sequence.
How to install and launch the current demo
- Open the official Steam listing for Militsioner Demo in the Steam client or browser.
- Use the demo download or play control shown by your Steam client. The listing identifies it as a free demo; you do not need to buy the full game to try this build.
- Let Steam finish downloading, then launch the demo from your library.
- Before moving far into the town, open the title screen’s controls or options area and note the bindings shown on your installation. Menus and labels can change between builds, so use the text your copy actually displays.

- Launch the demo and open the main menu or pause menu.
- Select the entry labelled Controls, Options, or the equivalent wording shown by your build.
- Read the keyboard, mouse, and controller sections instead of relying on a generic PC layout.
- If rebinding is offered, change one action at a time and return to the game to confirm what changed.

That means there is no responsible button-by-button answer to “finish the tutorial” from the official evidence. The broad escape objective is also not proof that leaving town is the tutorial’s completion trigger. The safest method is to let the installed build tell you what it considers the next task.

- Explore for information or alternate access, but do not assume every secret is required for tutorial completion.

Assuming escape equals tutorial completion
Escape is the broad game objective described by the Steam listing, but the official sources do not say that reaching the town’s exit completes the tutorial. Treat the tutorial as complete only when your installation visibly advances or stops presenting tutorial objectives.
Expecting a published keyboard chart
The retrieved Steam text confirms Xbox controller support but does not include exact keyboard, mouse, or button mappings. Check Controls or Options in the running game rather than borrowing a layout from a video, forum post, or another version.
Turning every possibility into a requirement

The Steam listing remains the authority for the public demo’s premise, broad escape goal, named approaches, single-player format, free availability, and listed Xbox controller support.
