Who is the “original Solid Snake” voice actor?
The headline’s wording can be mistaken for a reference to David Hayter. Ōtsuka is associated with Snake’s Japanese-language voice performance; Hayter is the English-language Snake actor. Has Hideo Kojima announced another Metal Gear?
No announcement is established by the report. Ōtsuka’s reported wish is directed toward Kojima, but it is not evidence that Kojima or Konami has committed to a new game. Recent discussion about the franchise’s future should likewise be read as opinion or production context unless it comes with a formal project announcement.
Could Metal Gear continue without Kojima?

Is Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater the “one more game”?
No. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is an existing remake, covered in 2025 as a recent series release and in reporting about the voice cast.
