The MediaTek Helio G100 is a 4G smartphone platform with two Cortex-A76 CPU cores, six Cortex-A55 cores and Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. MediaTek lists support for displays up to 120Hz, cameras up to 200MP, LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage—but phone makers decide which capabilities to include in each handset. Benchmark scores also vary by phone and test version, so there is no single guaranteed AnTuTu result for every G100 device.

MediaTek Helio G100 specifications

These are platform specifications published by MediaTek. They describe supported capabilities, not a promise that every phone using the G100 implements them all.

What the specifications mean for a phone

The G100 is a 4G platform; MediaTek’s published specifications do not list 5G support. Its display, camera and video figures are ceilings or supported configurations at the platform level. A manufacturer can choose a lower-resolution or lower-refresh-rate screen, different camera sensors, or a more limited camera setup. Firmware, cooling and the rest of the phone’s design also affect what users experience.

MediaTek says, “Partners can tailor the MediaTek Helio G100 platform to suit their specific device or market needs.” That is why a chipset specification should not be treated as a complete phone specification.

Helio G100 benchmark results: AnTuTu examples and limits

NanoReview’s Helio G100 benchmark page collects user-submitted results from different phones and benchmark versions. Examples shown there include AnTuTu 12 scores of 713,020 submitted on September 27, 2026, and 676,283 and 645,861 submitted on September 24, 2026. The same page lists the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G at 600,062 in AnTuTu v11.

Each figure is a specific database submission, not a controlled average or a score guaranteed for every G100 handset. Keep the phone and AnTuTu version attached to any quoted number: scores from different versions should not be compared as if they were produced by the same test.

Why two G100 phones can score differently

  • Phone design: Cooling and thermal limits can affect how long a device sustains higher performance.
  • Configuration: Memory configuration, firmware and selected power mode can influence a run.
  • Test conditions: Ambient temperature and other testing conditions can change results.
  • Benchmark version: AnTuTu version changes make scores from different versions unsuitable for direct comparison.

The available results do not establish one representative G100 score or settle sustained gaming performance. For a meaningful comparison, look for tests using the same benchmark version and comparable conditions, and check the exact phone configuration.

Helio G100 vs. Helio G99: what the specifications establish

MediaTek’s published pages show broadly similar CPU layouts: the G100 lists 2× Cortex-A76 cores up to 2.2GHz and 6× Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0GHz; the G99 page also lists two Cortex-A76 cores up to 2.2GHz. The G100 specifies Mali-G57 MC2, while MediaTek describes the G99 graphics as an Arm Mali-G57-class GPU. The G100 page also lists 200MP camera support and Bluetooth 5.2.

This is a specification comparison, not proof of a particular speed increase. The official product pages do not establish a quantified performance uplift for the G100 over the G99. A fair real-world comparison would require comparable tests on specific phones, with benchmark version and test conditions accounted for. See the MediaTek Helio G99 specifications alongside the G100 specifications.

How to judge a Helio G100 phone

Do not choose between phones on chipset ceilings or a single benchmark score alone. Compare the complete devices available in your market:

  • Confirm the exact chipset variant and RAM/storage configuration.
  • Check the actual display resolution and refresh rate, rather than assuming the platform maximum.
  • Compare camera sensors and stabilization, not just the supported megapixel ceiling.
  • Look at battery capacity, charging, cooling and sustained gaming tests for the handset.
  • Check software support and whether 4G connectivity meets your needs.
  • Compare local price and availability for the exact model.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
