TrueTrophies reports 42 trophies: one Platinum, four Gold, nine Silver, and 28 Bronze. It also counts 17 secret trophies, so a complete list can reveal story details. The Platinum trophy is named “I’m The Best There Is…” The list’s total and categories are TrueTrophies’ database reporting, not an official PlayStation count.

Before you start: edition, difficulty, and settings
Choose either edition
PlayStation lists Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition adds five exclusive suits—Incredible, Savage, Night Hunter, New Leather, and Age of Apocalypse—five exclusive claws—Smooth-Edged, Hollow Blade, Serrated Spine, Tapered, and Thick—and three Technique Points. PlayStation says Standard owners can upgrade to the Digital Deluxe content. PowerPyx’s roadmap says DLC is not needed for the Platinum, so these additions are not trophy prerequisites.
Set the challenge you want
PowerPyx reports that trophy conditions are not difficulty-locked and recommends the lowest setting for a lower-friction run. Choose a higher challenge if that is how you prefer to play; the trophy route does not require it.

Use accessibility options as needed
PlayStation lists options across gameplay assists, motion sensitivity, visual filters, audio settings, subtitle size and colors, and violence customization. The product page points to Insomniac for the complete options list; check the in-game settings for the controls and effects available in your build.
During the story: collect items and build cumulative progress
PowerPyx recommends collecting all 102 items while progressing through the story. In its route, Material Crates provide materials used to craft suits; Whisky Bottles and Nightmare Doors contribute to Adaptation progress and related trophy conditions. These totals and mechanics are guide-reported.

Make regular progress on cumulative combat and collection tasks rather than leaving every counter for the end. PowerPyx lists these targets:
- Parry 500 times.
- Defeat 100 enemies with Helix Claws.
- Defeat 75 enemies with Tornado Spin.
- Destroy 100 XP Caches.
- Craft 20 suits.
Use the specified moves often, and make sure the required number of enemies are finished with the matching ability. Insomniac’s partial spoiler-free trophy reveal, reported by Push Square, also included the 500-parry condition.

Keep mission-specific tasks separate
Some trophies require actions tied to particular missions, while the counters above accumulate across play. Track those mission-specific conditions separately from your combat totals so you can tell whether you missed a one-off opportunity. PowerPyx’s guide details the individual mission requirements. Its roadmap also says the highest rating in every Nightmare Trial is not required for the Platinum.

After the story: replay missions and finish trials
PowerPyx reports that after completing the story, you can select missions through the Nightmare Cabin and revisit missed trophies and collectibles. The guide says collectibles carry over during mission replay, and that the relevant combat counters can be completed through replay or Nightmare Trials. This means a missed item or unfinished cumulative target does not, according to that roadmap, require starting New Game+.

One Nightmare Trial trophy requirement is to earn at least an Adamantium rating in a trial. The guide does not require the highest rating in every trial; focus on the specific trophy requirement rather than treating every maximum rating as necessary.
Hidden post-story trophy: “Repressed Memories”
The sequence below contains post-story and trial spoilers. PowerPyx reports that “Repressed Memories” requires the following chain:
- Find all 14 Nightmare Doors.
- Earn at least a Bronze rating in each Nightmare Door trial.
- Complete the subsequently unlocked “Best There Is” trial with a Bronze rating or better.
- Leave the cabin and follow the scent trail.
If the sequence does not trigger, verify the conditions in the current game before repeating steps; trophy behavior and unlock sequences can change with updates.

- Start on your preferred difficulty. PowerPyx says the trophies are not difficulty-locked; choose the lowest setting if minimizing combat friction is your priority.
- Work through the story while collecting. Follow a collectible route for the 68 Material Crates, 20 Whisky Bottles, and 14 Nightmare Doors, and use crates toward suit crafting.
- Use combat abilities deliberately. Build toward 500 parries, 100 Helix Claws kills, and 75 Tornado Spin kills as you play; destroy XP Caches when encountered.
- Complete one-off mission tasks when available. Consult a mission checklist before leaving each relevant section if you are pursuing every trophy without relying on replay.
- Finish the story, then check the remaining counters. Use Nightmare Cabin mission replay and Nightmare Trials for cleanup, including the required Adamantium rating and the hidden sequence when its conditions are met.
What the trophy totals and time estimate actually mean
TrueTrophies reports 17 secret trophies within the 42-trophy list. That is a useful warning about spoilers, but it does not mean all 17 necessarily reveal major plot turns; avoid browsing their names if you want to preserve surprises.
PowerPyx’s 15–20-hour figure is an estimate for its route, not a completion-time study across players. Exploration habits, combat pace, and cleanup needs can change an individual run. Similarly, the 102-item total and trophy conditions here are guide-reported rather than official trophy guarantees.
