Marvel’s Wolverine has 32 launch-period suits: 27 available through the base game and five exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition. Most arrive automatically as the story advances or become craftable with Materials; the rest require collectibles, challenge scores, or finishing the campaign. This guide covers the reported unlocks for the PS5 launch version, released September 15, 2026, and distinguishes edition-locked suits from regular progression.
How suit unlocks work
Listen for Material Crates during missions: they provide the Materials used to craft suits. According to Push Square’s launch guide, most craftable suits cost 75–300 Materials and become available after a specified story milestone. Some suits are granted automatically instead, while four rewards require optional challenges, collectibles, or campaign completion. PlayStation Blog describes the Material Crate crafting mechanic and says acquiring more suits gives health upgrades; it does not specify an amount or a per-suit effect.

The requirements below are guide-reported launch-period details, not a complete official unlock list. Mission names and challenge labels can vary with localization or change after patches, so use the in-game suit menu and challenge labels as the final reference if they differ.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

Push Square lists these 27 suits as base-game content. “From” a mission means the suit becomes available to craft once you reach that point; it does not mean the suit is granted automatically.

Optional unlocks: collectibles and Nightmare Doors
Midnight: collect all Whisky Bottles
Midnight is the reported reward for collecting every Whisky Bottle. It is separate from Death, which unlocks after the campaign. Do not confuse the two: another guide uses “Death (Horseman of Death)” in discussing the finale suit, but the detailed checklist identifies Midnight as the collectible reward and Death as the campaign-clear reward.
Future Fugitive and Hellverine: earn challenge ranks
Both suits use the same three wave-based Nightmare Door challenges, but require different scores:
Rank #2
- An original action-adventure story starring Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games.
- Future Fugitive: earn Gold scores in Last Stand at Cold Pines, Crucible of Tears, and Savage Showdown.
- Hellverine: earn Adamantium scores in Last Stand at Cold Pines, Crucible of Tears, and Savage Showdown.
Death: finish the campaign
Death is automatically unlocked after completing the campaign. No collectible or challenge-score requirement is reported for this suit.
Digital Deluxe suits and the Classic Brown bonus
The Digital Deluxe Edition adds five exclusive suits, reported as automatically available at The One That Got Away. The US PlayStation Store listing identifies these as edition content. Classic Brown is different: it can be crafted in the base game, while a pre-order bonus grants an earlier unlock.
Rank #3
| Suit | Access | Reported unlock point | Materials |
|---|---|---|---|
| Age of Apocalypse | Digital Deluxe exclusive | Automatic at The One That Got Away | — |
| Incredible | Digital Deluxe exclusive | Automatic at The One That Got Away | — |
| New Leather | Digital Deluxe exclusive | Automatic at The One That Got Away | — |
| Savage | Digital Deluxe exclusive | Automatic at The One That Got Away | — |
| Night Hunt | Digital Deluxe exclusive | Automatic at The One That Got Away | — |
The US Store listing also includes other Digital Deluxe extras, but those are not additional suits. Edition contents and prices may differ by region; check the PlayStation Store for your account’s region. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a progression unlock, not one of the five Deluxe-exclusive suits. PlayStation Blog announced it as unlockable through game progression on Day 1; the launch guide reports the arcade milestone and 300-Material cost.
