A video described as Marvel’s “Project COMET” gameplay trailer reportedly appeared on Bilibili on October 2, 2026, before spreading to YouTube and X. It appears to show Marvel heroes fighting together and advertises four-player co-op, but neither the footage nor the unannounced game has been officially authenticated in the coverage available as of October 6, 2026.
What the alleged Project COMET trailer appears to show
Coverage by Insider Gaming and PocketGamer.biz describes footage featuring Wolverine, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, War Machine and other Marvel characters in combat. The video reportedly includes on-screen feature language referring to Marvel environments, superhero powers, combat and a four-player co-op squad.

Those details describe what appears in a circulating video; they are not a verified feature list. The footage reportedly frames the premise around the Fantastic Four going missing and presents the game as a next-generation mobile action RPG. That premise and genre remain leak-derived descriptions, not confirmed product information.
Where the video appeared—and what its spread does not prove
Insider Gaming reports that the video was uploaded to Bilibili on October 2, 2026, under the title “Marvel’s Comet Project Official Live Trailer.” PocketGamer.biz also reports that it spread from Bilibili to YouTube and X. A YouTube copy was reportedly blocked following a Disney content claim. A platform claim or block does not, by itself, confirm that the video is authentic or that it depicts an officially announced game.

Is the Project COMET trailer real?
It has not been publicly authenticated in the cited coverage. Insider Gaming said the trailer “looks very real” while noting its audio is off; Shane the Gamer also describes rough audio and an abrupt cutoff. Those qualities may inform viewers’ impressions, but they cannot establish who made the video or whether it reflects a real, current project. Earlier reported leaks and apparent consistency are likewise not official verification.
For the current reporting, see Shane the Gamer’s updated October 6 coverage and Beebom’s October 5 account. Neither changes the central qualification: Project COMET and the trailer remain unconfirmed in the reviewed reports.

What is reported about the developer and platforms
Reports link Scopely to Project COMET, but the coverage does not establish Scopely’s involvement officially. PocketGamer.biz says Polygon reporting suggests iOS, Android and PC. Shane the Gamer points to a Scopely job listing as a possible clue about mobile and PC development, while noting that the listing does not name Project COMET.
- Mobile: Reported as part of the game’s possible scope, not confirmed by an official announcement.
- PC: Inferred from reporting and a job-listing clue; not confirmed as a Project COMET platform.
- Cross-play: Not established by the reviewed coverage.
Similarly, descriptions of the game as an action RPG and discussion of gacha mechanics concern unannounced material. They should not be treated as confirmed specifications or monetization plans.
