Mailbird’s Asana integration lets you open Asana tasks inside Mailbird and view them beside your inbox. To use it, enable Asana from Mailbird’s Apps list, sign in, then select Asana from the inbox’s side panel. This is in-app access to tasks—not a documented way to turn an email into a task or synchronize email threads.
What the Mailbird and Asana integration does
Asana describes Mailbird as an email management app where you can access Asana tasks alongside email, calendar, and other tools. The documented workflow keeps the two views together: open your inbox and display Asana beside it. Asana’s integration page describes access to tasks, but does not establish email-thread synchronization, task creation from an email through Mailbird, or detailed task-field editing in Mailbird. How to enable Asana in Mailbird
- Install and launch Mailbird.
- Open Apps in the lower-left area of the Mailbird window.
- Find Asana in the Apps list and activate it.
- Select Asana and sign in to your Asana account.
These are the setup steps described by Asana. Interface labels or locations may change between Mailbird versions.

Show email and tasks side by side
- Open your inbox in Mailbird.
- Click the < icon in the upper-right portion of the window.
- Select Asana to display its tasks beside your email.
This view is useful when you want to refer to tasks while working in your inbox. The integration listing does not specify which task details can be edited in this view or how changes sync.

Mailbird access versus creating a task by email
Asana documents a separate email-based task-creation feature. It has a different purpose from opening tasks inside Mailbird:

Check the current Mailbird interface and service requirements before relying on them; the documented steps establish the basic workflow, not those additional details.
