GARRACK has announced six Madoka Magica smartwatches whose animated watch faces change a character into magical-girl form when heart rate rises. The effect happens on the watch display; the product information does not specify the heart-rate threshold. Notifications trigger a themed Soul Gem or Dark Orb icon, while the background also animates.
How the heart-rate transformation works
The defining feature is a character animation on the watch face, not a real-world transformation. Ueni Trading’s product announcement says the visual changes into magical-girl form at a certain heart rate. Neither the announcement nor the product pages state the exact threshold or explain whether users can adjust it, so it should not be treated as a precise heart-rate alert.

Other effects are separate: an icon themed to the character’s Soul Gem or Dark Orb pops up with notifications, and the watch-face background moves every second. These are display features, distinct from the watch’s health measurements.

GARRACK and Ueni Trading announced preorders opening October 9, 2026, and a release date of October 30, 2026. These are Japanese-market announcement details; on October 13, 2026, the stated release date was still ahead. Phone support, health features and battery claims
The GARRACK collection page lists iOS and Android support and says the functions use the Huawei Health app. Advertised capabilities include heart-rate and blood-oxygen measurement, sleep and activity tracking, HRV-based stress measurement, phone notifications and 100 workout modes. These are vendor-described features, not independent test results or medical validation. Do not use the watch’s readings as a substitute for professional medical advice.
