Image Comics’ Lost Fantasy and Fireborn cross over for the first time in Lost Fantasy #13 and Fireborn #5. Both issues are scheduled for October 28, 2026. The centerpiece is a fight between Lost Fantasy’s Henry and Fireborn’s Aaron, shown from a different perspective in each book. ComicBook.com’s Nicole Drum published an exclusive preview on October 5, 2026 (source).
How the crossover is built
The crossover spans two issues, not one. Lost Fantasy #13 and Fireborn #5 each present a side of the Henry/Aaron confrontation. Image’s pitch, as relayed by ComicBook.com, is “like Rashomon but with Dragons and Giant Swords.” That points to one clash told through two viewpoints. The preview does not name who at Image said it.

What Lost Fantasy is
Lost Fantasy is a video-game-inspired alternate history. Myth, monsters, and magic sit just beneath the surface of the modern world. More than a century ago, a natural disaster created a schism that let monsters from that other world break through.

Why issue #13 matters to the series
Issue #13 opens the series’ fourth arc. Writer Curt Pires told The Beat, as quoted in the preview, that the arc is “kind of what we’ve been building to.” In his words, it shows Edge and the villains heading to an island “where the wall between worlds is thinnest,” and trying to break it down so they can invade Earth. Henry and his team try to stop them.
