Loop One: Done is a VR factory-automation game in which you record routines for drones and industrial robots, then use them to turn raw materials into products. Ojsan Studio AB announced a Steam Early Access launch for October 5, 2026, at 17:00 CET. A launch-day report by MIXED found that Steam still displayed only “2026” as the release date and showed no price when it checked the store page; that was a snapshot, not confirmation of the listing’s current state. (MIXED, October 5, 2026; Steam listing)
What is Loop One: Done?
Loop One: Done is a physics-based VR automation game from Ojsan Studio AB. You manually record actions for drones and industrial robots, then repeat those routines to automate factory work. Production involves converting materials into products, with a server tower and cleanroom facilities among the factory projects described on Steam. (Steam)

Steam launch date and price
The developer announced a Steam Early Access release time of October 5, 2026, at 17:00 CET. MIXED reported on October 5 that, at its check time, the Steam page continued to show a 2026 release date and no price. The report describes what the store displayed when checked; it does not establish what Steam shows now. (MIXED)

The available evidence does not establish a Steam price. The Steam Early Access FAQ says the developer did not plan to raise the price when the game leaves Early Access, but that statement is not an announced starting price. A $12.99 price was reported for the separate Quest version on September 3, 2026; it should not be taken as the Steam price. (Steam; UploadVR, September 3, 2026)
What Early Access includes—and what remains planned
Steam describes the Early Access build as playable, while noting that some endgame content and expected PC VR settings are missing and that minor bugs may occur. The developer’s listed plans include at least 16 additional facilities and materials, user-interface improvements, blueprints, and more translations. These are plans rather than guarantees of delivery on a particular schedule. (Steam Early Access description)

The developer estimated a September 2026 full release in its Steam Early Access information. That date was a forecast, not confirmation that the full release occurred; check the current Steam page or developer announcements for a later status. The earlier Steam search listing showed a planned Q3 2026 release, but that listing state likewise should not be treated as a current launch notice.

What the demo announcement described
In a June 15 Steam Community post, the developer described a demo limited to iron, the first material, and previewed further materials including plastic, gold, copper, silicon, and water, plus a larger server-rack production chain. That post records what the announced demo contained; it does not confirm that the same demo remains available now. (Steam Community: Next Fest Demo!)

Platforms and VR setup
The Steam edition is marked VR-only, requires motion controllers, and specifies OpenXR support. Steam says it was tested with Valve Index, Meta Quest, HP Reverb G2 using the Oasis driver, and HTC Vive. The store lists minimum PC requirements of Windows 10, an AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS, 16 GB of RAM, a GTX 2060, and 850 MB of available storage; its recommended specifications include Windows 11 and a GTX 3070. Check the live listing before buying, since requirements and compatibility details can change. (Steam system requirements)
The Quest edition is a distinct version, not the Steam PC VR release. The developer’s site describes Quest Early Access availability for Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, Quest 3, and Quest 3S. UploadVR reported on September 3, 2026, that Quest VR mode had left beta and described updates to the interface, locomotion, and hand tracking. The report’s $12.99 figure applies to Quest as reported on that date, not Steam. (Ojsan Studio AB; UploadVR)

Who may enjoy it?
The central appeal is building repeatable systems: instead of only issuing one-off commands, you record robot and drone routines and refine a production line around them. The listed modes point to both structured campaign play and less directed freeplay or sandbox sessions. Steam’s description and feature list establish the intended mechanics, but they do not provide independent testing of headset performance or a basis for ranking devices.
