LogMeOnce Password Manager: Key Facts on Features, Security and Value

LogMeOnce offers a broad set of password and account-security features, and its release notes document ongoing fixes. Independent audit evidence and comprehensive reliability testing are not established here, so verify compatibility and current plan details before choosing it.

LogMeOnce is a feature-rich password manager, but the available evidence does not establish a recent independent security audit or comprehensive reliability testing across its apps. Its documented updates show ongoing maintenance, including fixes for extension problems and reported click-jacking issues. Whether it is a good fit depends on your devices, the login and recovery options you want, and the plan’s current limits and price.

What LogMeOnce offers

LogMeOnce markets a broad set of password-management and account-security features. Its product pages describe encrypted credential storage, password generation, autofill, syncing, password sharing, secure notes, a security scorecard, and emergency access through a trusted contact. These are vendor descriptions; they do not independently verify how well each feature works, and availability may vary by plan.

TechRadar describes LogMeOnce’s PasswordLess login as a way to avoid entering the master password each time by using a mobile device or a photo. It also reports support for several two-factor authentication methods and syncing across linked devices. Its 2026 roundup lists YubiKey security-key authentication among the reported MFA options. Confirm current plan eligibility and support for your exact device, app, browser, and key before relying on a particular setup.

What the reliability and security evidence shows

LogMeOnce’s 7.x release notes document ongoing maintenance. They include fixes for extension interfaces disappearing or freezing, Safari 18 extension issues, autofill changes, and reported click-jacking issues. The notes record further click-jacking fixes on August 22, August 29, and September 5, 2025. An August 22, 2025 entry says: “Fixed click-jacking vulnerability reported by reviewers (Reported by Marek Tóth), and LogMeOnce end-users (Extension 7.12.5).”

  • POWERFUL SECURITY KEY: The Security Key C NFC is the essential physical passkey for protecting your digital life from phishing attacks. It ensures only you can access your accounts.

  • FAST & CONVENIENT LOGIN: Plug in your Security Key C NFC via USB-C and tap it, or tap it against your phone (NFC) to authenticate. No batteries, no internet connection, and no extra fees required.
  • TRUSTED PASSKEY TECHNOLOGY: Uses the latest passkey standards (FIDO2/WebAuthn & FIDO U2F) but does not support One-Time Passwords. For complex needs, check out the YubiKey 5 Series.
  • BUILT TO LAST: Made from tough, waterproof, and crush-resistant materials. Manufactured in Sweden and programmed in the USA with the highest security standards.

Those entries are useful evidence that reported problems led to software changes. They do not establish that every affected user received an update, that no vulnerabilities remain, or that the service has passed a recent independent security audit. LogMeOnce’s own pages describe its encryption and security architecture, but those vendor claims should not be treated as independent verification. The available evidence also does not include hands-on testing, penetration testing, or a controlled comparison of the apps.

Plans and reported prices

TechRadar’s 2026 roundup reports a free tier and monthly prices of $2.50 for Professional, $3.25 for Ultimate, and $4.99 for Family; it describes Family as covering six Premium accounts. The roundup says dark-web monitoring costs extra. LogMeOnce’s official pricing page describes its Free Premium plan as supporting unlimited devices with minimal ads, and says billing is annual with 30 days to cancel.

These descriptions do not establish that the reported prices or features remain available on the same terms. Plan names, limits, add-ons, renewal terms, and pricing can change. Check the current pricing table and checkout details before choosing a tier or budgeting for a subscription.

How to decide whether LogMeOnce is right for you

Assess the setup you will actually use rather than relying on a general compatibility claim. TechRadar describes support for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS, along with common browser extensions, while noting browser-support limitations relative to competitors. Check current official support information for your specific operating system and browser.

  • Devices and browsers: Confirm that the apps and extensions you need are supported on every device you use.
  • Login and MFA: Check whether your preferred login and second-factor methods work on your platforms and are included in the plan you are considering.
  • Sharing and recovery: Determine whether the relevant tier includes the sharing, emergency-access, or other recovery features you need.
  • Total cost: Compare the annual cost, including paid add-ons, renewal terms, and any features you need that are not in the advertised tier.

For personal use, LogMeOnce may be worth considering if its feature set matches your needs and its current plan and platform details check out. If independent security assurance or a tested reliability record is a deciding requirement, the evidence described here is not enough to establish either one.
