Neither Logitech nor Creative is automatically the better choice: the right speaker depends on the exact models and the connections, bass, controls, and desk space your setup needs. For example, Logitech’s Z407 is a 2.1 system with a subwoofer and wireless control dial, while Creative’s T60 is a 2.0 desktop system with several computer-audio connections. Those differences can guide a purchase, but manufacturer specifications alone cannot establish which one sounds better.
Start with your setup, not the brand
Both companies sell different kinds of speakers. Logitech’s US catalog spans stereo, 2.1, gaming, portable, and surround products; Creative’s catalog includes Pebble, T-series, Sound Blaster, and Stage models. A comparison between the brands therefore needs to narrow down to specific models and your requirements. (Logitech speaker catalog; Creative speaker catalog)

- Bass: Decide whether you specifically want a separate subwoofer.
- Sources: List the devices you need to connect and the ports they require, such as Bluetooth, USB audio, or 3.5 mm analog input.
- Desk and controls: Consider available space, cable tolerance, and whether a wired control pod or wireless dial suits you better.
- Local buying conditions: Compare current price and stock for the exact model in your region; availability can change.
How the documented models compare
| Model | Configuration and connections | Controls or power | Manufacturer-stated output | Potential fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Logitech Z407 | 2.1; Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB, and 3.5 mm inputs | Wireless control dial | 40 W RMS total: 20 W RMS subwoofer and 2 × 10 W RMS satellites; 80 W peak | Desktop setups that call for a subwoofer, multiple source options, and wireless volume or bass control |
| Logitech Z313 | 2.1; one 3.5 mm input | Wired control pod | 25 W RMS total, including a 15 W RMS subwoofer | A simpler wired setup with a headphone-jack audio source |
| Creative Pebble (original) | 2.0; 3.5 mm analog audio input | USB-powered; no power adapter required according to Creative’s 2016 datasheet | 4.4 W RMS | Compact desktop use where USB power and analog audio suit the setup |
| Creative T60 | 2.0; Bluetooth, USB audio, auxiliary input, headset output, and microphone input | Power details not stated on the cited product page | 30 W RMS total; 60 W peak | A computer setup that needs more wired audio connections as well as Bluetooth |
Figures in the table are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements or a controlled comparison of loudness or sound quality. The original Pebble’s 4.4 W RMS figure comes from a 2016 datasheet and does not apply to Pebble Pro, Pebble Plus, or other Pebble variants. When Logitech’s listed models may fit better
Choose the Z407 if a subwoofer and wireless dial matter
The Z407 is a documented option if you want a 2.1 layout, Bluetooth plus micro-USB and 3.5 mm inputs, and a wireless dial for desktop control. Check that its subwoofer and satellite speakers fit your space, and that its input options match the devices you plan to use. See the Logitech Z407 specifications.
#1 Best Overall
- External computer speaker in Black (set of 2) for amplifying PC or laptop audio
- USB-Powered from USB port of PC or Laptop
- In-line volume control for easy access
- Blue LED lights; metal finish and scratch-free padded base
- Bottom radiator for “springy” bass sound
Consider the Z313 for a more basic wired connection
The Z313 offers a 2.1 configuration with a single 3.5 mm input and a wired control pod. It may suit a setup built around one headphone-jack source, but it does not offer the Z407’s listed Bluetooth and micro-USB inputs. See the Logitech Z313 specifications.
When Creative’s listed models may fit better
Consider the original Pebble when USB power and compact stereo are priorities
Creative’s 2016 datasheet describes the original Pebble as a 2.0 desktop speaker set with USB power and 3.5 mm analog audio. Creative says it is powered by a single USB cable without a power adapter. That may be useful for a compact computer setup, but confirm the precise Pebble version before relying on specifications: the older datasheet covers the original model, not later variants. Consider the T60 when computer audio connections are important
The T60’s listed connections include Bluetooth, USB audio, auxiliary input, headset output, and microphone input. That range may suit a desktop user who wants speaker playback alongside headset and microphone connections. It is a 2.0 system, rather than a 2.1 setup with a separate subwoofer. See the Creative T60 specifications.

What the specifications can—and cannot—tell you
RMS and peak output figures describe manufacturer-stated specifications, not a standardized head-to-head listening result. The models above differ in speaker configuration and intended setup, and their output figures should not be treated as a direct sound-quality score. The cited product pages and datasheet do not establish a universal Logitech-versus-Creative winner.

Check the current listing in your market before choosing a model. (Creative speaker catalog)
