The Logitech MX Vertical is a rechargeable wireless mouse built around a 57-degree vertical shape. It is worth considering if you want a handshake-style grip, flexible Bluetooth or receiver connections, and customizable controls—but fit matters: Logitech positions it for medium-to-large hands, and the manufacturer’s ergonomic benefit claims are not independent proof that it will ease pain or prevent injury.
What is the Logitech MX Vertical?
Introduced in 2018, the MX Vertical is an ergonomic mouse whose body is rotated into a 57-degree angle. Logitech says this shape supports a natural handshake position. That describes the product’s design intent, not a guaranteed posture or health outcome.

Logitech’s product page describes the mouse as “great for large to medium hands” and says it was designed and sculpted by Logitech’s ergonomic and design team. This is the manufacturer’s fit guidance, not an independent fit assessment. The official dimensions are 120 mm high, 79 mm wide, and 78.5 mm deep, so compare those measurements with a mouse you already find comfortable or try the shape in person if possible.

The key question is whether the vertical grip feels natural to you. If you are used to a conventional mouse, the hand position and the way your fingers reach the buttons may take adjustment. The available manufacturer information does not establish that the mouse is comfortable for everyone or that it treats or prevents pain or injury.

Battery life, charging, and weight
The mouse has a rechargeable 240 mAh Li-Po battery and charges over USB-C. Logitech estimates up to four months of battery life per charge; this is a manufacturer estimate, not an independently measured result. Logitech’s 2018 launch announcement also claimed that a one-minute charge could provide up to three hours of use. Actual battery life and quick-charge results can vary with use.
Logitech’s official sources conflict on weight. Its Support specifications list 125 g, while its product page and business data sheet list 135 g. If weight is important to your decision, check the exact regional product listing or package rather than relying on one figure.
