To pair the Logitech MX Keys Mini, turn it on, hold the Easy-Switch key for the channel you want for three seconds until its light blinks rapidly, then select the keyboard in your computer’s Bluetooth settings. After pairing, a short press on that channel key reconnects to that device.
Pair the MX Keys Mini with your first computer
- Turn on the keyboard.
- Choose an Easy-Switch channel. If its light is not blinking rapidly, press and hold that channel’s key for three seconds. A rapidly blinking light indicates that the keyboard is discoverable.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the computer and select the MX Keys Mini from the device list to complete pairing.
Logitech’s setup instructions direct you to your computer’s Bluetooth settings but do not give separate menu paths for each operating system. Logitech lists compatibility with Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, iOS 13.4 or later, iPadOS 14 or later, Linux, ChromeOS, and Android 5 or later; the setup page does not provide a different pairing walkthrough for each platform. Pair another computer or switch between devices
Add another computer
Select a different Easy-Switch channel and repeat the three-second hold if its light is not blinking rapidly. Then complete pairing in that computer’s Bluetooth settings. The keyboard can be paired with up to three computers.

Return to a paired computer
Briefly press the Easy-Switch key for the paired computer you want to use. A short press switches channels; holding the key for three seconds is for entering discoverable mode when pairing.

If the keyboard does not appear in Bluetooth settings
- Confirm that the keyboard is turned on.
- Check the light for the channel you intend to pair. If it is not blinking rapidly, hold that channel’s Easy-Switch key for three seconds, then check the Bluetooth device list again.
- Make sure you are looking for the keyboard on the computer whose Bluetooth settings you opened.
Logitech links to separate Bluetooth troubleshooting information, but its MX Keys Mini setup page does not specify further recovery steps. Avoid trying unverified reset or key combinations based on that setup guidance.
Do you need Logitech software to pair?
No. Logitech describes its software as a way to use additional keyboard features, not as a requirement for basic Bluetooth pairing. Follow the Bluetooth steps above if your goal is simply to connect the keyboard.
