The Logitech Mobi Fold is most useful when you need a mouse that can disappear into a bag between work sessions. It folds down for travel, wakes when opened, and can pair with up to three devices over Bluetooth. But its touch-sensitive scroll control, limited battery endurance in one reviewer’s experience, and lack of an included receiver make it a more convincing travel companion than a desk-first mouse.
What makes the Mobi Fold different?
The Mobi Fold opens into a conventional arched mouse shape and folds in half for transport. Logitech says folding switches it off and unfolding turns it on, so there is no separate power switch to remember. The company describes it as ambidextrous and designed for portability, with a 4K DPI sensor and adaptive touch scrolling. Logitech’s US product page has the current product details.

The official setup-guide search result lists open dimensions of 122 × 57 × 33 mm (4.80 × 2.24 × 1.30 inches), folded dimensions of 66 × 57 × 21 mm (2.60 × 2.24 × 0.83 inches), and a weight of 79 g (2.79 oz). Those figures are from the guide listing; Tom’s Guide separately gives rounded measurements of 4.8 × 2.3 × 1.3 inches open, 2.6 × 0.8 inches folded, and 2.8 oz. The differing folded measurements illustrate why it is worth checking the current guide if exact bag or case clearance matters. Logitech’s Mobi Fold setup guide.
How does it work for mobile use?
Portability is the clearest reason to choose this mouse. In her August 27, 2026 review for Tom’s Guide, Ashley Thieme found the folded shape easy to store and said the opened arch felt comfortable in her hand. She also found that sensors deactivate the buttons while the mouse is lifted or folded, which helps prevent accidental clicks while handling it. These are her reported experiences, not independent test results. Read Thieme’s Tom’s Guide review.

Logitech says the mouse can connect to as many as three devices over Bluetooth and supports Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux. That makes it suitable for switching between a laptop, tablet, or other supported device without carrying a USB receiver. The company’s product page and announcement are the sources for compatibility; check them for current system details before purchase. Logitech’s June 2026 announcement.
What is scrolling like without a wheel?
The Mobi Fold uses a touch-sensitive scroll surface instead of a physical wheel. Logitech calls it adaptive touch scrolling, but reviewer experience suggests this is the biggest adjustment. Thieme reported that scrolling could feel jumpy, overly sensitive, or unresponsive. RTINGS likewise says the touch input is less precise than a standard wheel. If you regularly scroll long documents, spreadsheets, or web pages and rely on controlled wheel steps, try the touch surface before making it your primary mouse. RTINGS’ Mobi Fold review.

How do the clicks, battery, and charging affect daily use?
Click noise is not settled by the available reviews: Thieme described the clicks as loud, while RTINGS characterized them as very quiet. The difference means click volume should not be treated as a universal trait; sensitivity to sound and testing conditions can affect the impression.
Thieme reported 32 days of battery life and about 45 minutes to charge, and found that the port’s position made using the mouse while charging difficult. Treat those figures as her review reporting rather than a guaranteed runtime. Logitech’s setup guide search result says replacement batteries can be ordered through iFixit, but consult the guide for current service details.

Does it include a USB receiver?
The consumer Mobi Fold connects over Bluetooth, and Tom’s Guide reports that a Logi Bolt receiver is not included. Logitech’s launch announcement says the receiver is included with the separate Mobi Fold for Business package. These bundles are not interchangeable: confirm the package contents for the exact model and seller if your computer requires a USB receiver.
What does it cost?
Logitech’s US product page showed the Mobi Fold at $79.99 and Lilac in stock on October 7, 2026. The same page displayed a promotional pouch valued at $22.99 at that time. Logitech’s June 10, 2026 launch announcement listed launch prices of $79.99 USD, $119.99 CAD, €79.99, and £69.99; those are launch figures, not assurances of current pricing in each region. Who should buy the Logitech Mobi Fold?
- Consider it if: you travel or work in multiple places, want a mouse that packs smaller than its open shape suggests, and prefer Bluetooth multi-device pairing.
- Look elsewhere if: you need precise physical-wheel scrolling, quiet clicks are essential to your workspace, you expect long battery life between charges, or your setup requires a bundled receiver.
Logitech cites its own ErgoLab study of 30 people in 2025 as finding a 22% reduction in forearm muscle strain compared with an integrated laptop trackpad. This is a manufacturer-reported study claim, not an independently verified result here, and should not be treated as a guarantee of ergonomic benefit.
