To install a Logitech Wireless Keyboard K360, put two AA alkaline batteries in the keyboard, switch it on, and plug its Unifying USB receiver directly into a working USB port on your computer. Try typing. If it does not connect, use Logitech’s Unifying Software pairing flow to reconnect it; the K360 uses its USB receiver, not Bluetooth.
Install the batteries and receiver

Turn the keyboard over and open the battery cover. Insert two AA alkaline batteries, matching the polarity marks in the compartment, then close the cover. Logitech advises against mixing old and new batteries or batteries from different brands. Its support page estimates battery life at up to 36 months (three years); this is a manufacturer estimate, not a guarantee. Logitech K360 battery instructions

Switch the keyboard on. If the Unifying receiver is stored inside the keyboard, remove it from the slot beside the battery compartment, under the battery cover. Battery location Receiver storage information

Plug the receiver directly into a working USB port on the computer, rather than into a USB hub or KVM switch. Then try typing. The K360 connects through this receiver; Logitech’s K360 instructions do not establish Bluetooth pairing for the model. Logitech K360 troubleshooting

Reconnect the K360 if typing does not work
Logitech’s general receiver instructions describe pairing with Unifying Software. Logitech also says the utility is no longer supported or maintained, and the current K360 downloads page lists no product downloads. Do not assume Logitech offers a current K360-specific installer. If you already have access to the utility, its documented pairing steps are:

Open Logitech Unifying Software and select Next.

Follow the on-screen prompt to switch the keyboard off and then on again.

When the detection screen appears, type a test message in its field. If the typing works, select Yes or Next as prompted, then select Finish.

If the keyboard is not detected, wait briefly and repeat the pairing process.

Check power: Confirm the keyboard is switched on and the batteries are installed with the correct polarity. Replace weak batteries if needed.

Check the receiver: Reseat it in a working USB port directly on the computer. Avoid hubs and KVM switches.

Improve the receiver’s position: Move the keyboard closer and keep metal surfaces or nearby electronics from interfering. Logitech recommends keeping other electrical devices at least 8 inches (20 cm) from the receiver when troubleshooting frequent connection stops.

Pair again if needed: If the receiver and batteries are in place but the keyboard remains disconnected, try the Unifying Software procedure above, if you have access to it.
