The Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE’s main draw is HITS, a system that lets you adjust how its main buttons register and reset, with adjustable haptic feedback. It also has a lightweight design and high-end stated sensor specifications. The trade-offs are its premium price, a right-handed-only configuration, no dedicated DPI button, and a specialized click system whose benefits may matter more to competitive players than casual users.
What makes the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE different?
HITS stands for Haptic Inductive Trigger System. Logitech says it replaces conventional microswitches in the main buttons with inductive sensing and real-time haptic feedback. Instead of a single fixed click behavior, the mouse lets users tune when a press registers, when the button resets for another press, and how strong the haptic response feels.

Logitech’s product page lists ten actuation points, five rapid-trigger reset points, and six haptic intensity levels. Actuation is the button travel required for a press to register; reset is how far the button must return before another press can register. This flexibility is the mouse’s defining feature, but adjustable settings alone do not establish that a player will aim better or win more often. Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE product page
Pros
Highly adjustable main-button behavior
The range of actuation, reset, and haptic settings gives players who care about click feel room to tailor the main buttons. TechRadar found the configurable actuation and tactile response compelling in its review. That is a reviewer’s assessment, not evidence of a universal performance gain. TechRadar’s review

High stated sensor specifications
The HERO 2 sensor is specified by Logitech for up to 44,000 DPI, over 888 IPS, and 88 G acceleration. Those figures describe manufacturer specifications; maximum settings are not a promise of better play. Its specialized click system may not justify the cost for everyone
The adjustable click system is most relevant if you want to tune button response. Tom’s Guide cautions that casual competitive gamers may not see a large benefit from faster clicks. Logitech’s launch coverage includes a testimonial from professional CS2 player m0NESY, but a player endorsement is not a controlled test or proof of a general performance advantage. No left-handed configuration or dedicated DPI selector
TechRadar flags the lack of a left-handed version and the absence of a dedicated DPI button. Either can be a deciding drawback if you need a left-handed shape or regularly change sensitivity using a physical control.

Minimal button layout
TechRadar describes two thumb buttons and a basic scroll wheel. That focused layout keeps the controls simple, but may not suit players who want many programmable buttons on the mouse.
