Kraft Heinz has announced Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen, a new line of actual ramen noodles with the brand’s signature cheese positioning. The company expects it to reach stores nationwide in early 2027. Three varieties are planned: Spicy, Chicken and Pork.
What is Kraft Cheesy Ramen?
It is Kraft Mac & Cheese’s move into ramen: ramen paired with the brand’s cheese flavor, rather than macaroni noodles in a ramen-inspired cheese sauce. Kraft Heinz describes the launch as the brand’s first entry into a new category in nearly 20 years. Kraft Heinz announcement

What flavors does Kraft ramen come in?
Kraft Heinz announced three varieties:
- Spicy: Cheese with what the company calls a bold kick.
- Chicken: Cheese paired with chicken ramen’s umami flavor.
- Pork: Pork ramen notes combined with the familiar cheese taste.
The company says the product is made without artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes. That is Kraft Heinz’s formulation claim; ingredient lists and nutrition facts have not been provided in the announcement. Kraft Heinz announcement

The new product is cheesy ramen. It is separate from Kraft’s existing Chicken Ramen Flavored Mac & Cheese, which is macaroni and cheese flavored with chicken ramen. The two products reverse the format: one is ramen with cheese, while the other is mac and cheese with ramen flavoring. Kraft Mac & Cheese product catalog

Why is Kraft launching cheesy ramen?
Kraft Heinz says it sees interest in bold flavors and new ways to enjoy familiar foods. Nicolas Henault, the brand’s vice president of marketing, said the company is seeing growing demand for cheesy ramen in the U.S. That is the company’s explanation for the launch, not an independently established measure of consumer demand.

The company frames the product as part of a broader effort to bring familiar brands into other categories and eating occasions, citing its earlier Kraft Mac & Cheese PowerMac release. It also points to the practice of customizing ramen with cheese, including using cheese to soften the perceived heat of spicy noodles. Kraft Heinz announcement
What does Kraft say about the ramen market?
Kraft Heinz’s October 6, 2026 announcement cites IRI Circana data for a U.S. ramen category valued at $2.7 billion and growing 9% year over year. The company also says the cheesy ramen segment doubled over three years. These are figures reported by Kraft Heinz, not independently verified here; the announcement’s footnote has a truncated date for the underlying measurement period. Kraft Heinz announcement
