The Launch-through-Lead family is bandwidth-priced, according to Kinsta’s plan guidance. Kinsta’s pricing page describes allowances across those tiers ranging from 1 to 20 installs, estimated monthly visits from 75,000 to 1,500,000, server bandwidth from 15GB to 275GB, storage from 15GB to 60GB, and CDN bandwidth from 125GB to 1,000GB. The exact allowance for each tier is not reproduced here; consult the live plan details rather than inferring an individual tier’s limits. What does Kinsta include?
Kinsta describes the following as part of its managed WordPress hosting offering. These are published capabilities, not a guarantee of a particular speed or uptime result.
#1 Best Overall
- CDN and edge caching: Kinsta says its hosting includes a Cloudflare-powered CDN and edge caching.
- Performance diagnostics: An application performance monitoring (APM) tool can help identify PHP processes, database queries, and external calls involved in site activity.
- Backups and staging: Daily automatic backups and free staging environments are listed among the included features. Backup retention varies by plan.
- Site access and management: SFTP/SSH access, site-management tools, and analytics are included capabilities.
- Migrations: Kinsta advertises unlimited migrations; confirm the applicable migration process and requirements for your site.
- Security and administration: The pricing page lists WAF and DDoS protection, malware removal, MySQL optimization, 24/7 support in eight languages, unlimited users with flexible access management, SAML SSO/JIT provisioning, and a REST API.
These descriptions come from Kinsta’s WordPress hosting feature page and its pricing page. Any vendor language suggesting a speed boost should be treated as a provider claim, not an independent benchmark. The sources establish listed features and plan terms, not independently measured speed or uptime.
Which Kinsta plan should you choose?
Start with recent usage rather than the plan name. Kinsta recommends reviewing usage across prior billing periods when comparing plans. Check each site’s resource use, then match it to the allowances and billing basis shown for the plan you are considering.
- Count installs. Check how Kinsta defines an install before assuming each domain or network subsite needs its own plan allocation.
- Review bandwidth or visits. The newer Launch-through-Lead plans use bandwidth pricing. Compare the plan’s stated server-bandwidth or visit allowance with your actual usage.
- Check storage and CDN consumption. Confirm that both your stored site data and CDN bandwidth fit comfortably within the included limits.
- Match backup retention to your needs. Check how many days of backups the specific plan retains and whether a paid backup option is necessary.
- Estimate the full bill. Add likely overages and any required extras to the base price before comparing annual and monthly billing.
For one small site, the Single 20GB plan provides a clear published allowance set. If you need multiple installs, the WP 2 bandwidth option is one published example; the newer tier family may also fit, depending on its live allowance details. Agencies and larger organizations should request current package terms rather than treating starting prices as complete quotes.

Yes. Kinsta’s overage documentation, last updated March 9, 2026, lists these charges:
Rank #3
| Resource overage | Published charge |
|---|---|
| Visits | $0.50 per 1,000 visits |
| Server bandwidth | $0.50 per GB |
| Disk space | $2 per GB per month, prorated daily |
| CDN bandwidth | $0.05 per additional GB |
Kinsta says sites remain online when limits are exceeded, but charges can accumulate. These published rates may change; check the current Kinsta overages guidance and your account’s usage before relying on them.
Which features cost extra?
The base plan does not necessarily cover every operational need. Kinsta’s pricing page lists optional paid extras that include:
Rank #4
- External backups or more frequent backups
- Premium staging
- Redis caching
- Reverse proxy
- Additional disk space
- Additional WordPress sites
- Automatic updates
Because the charges for these extras can depend on the option and current terms, check the live pricing page for the applicable fee before adding one.

How does Kinsta count WordPress installs?
Kinsta defines an install as a WordPress site with its live and staging environments. A domain alias does not automatically count as another install. Multisite subsites share the primary install’s resources, so they do not each represent a separately resourced install in the same way as independent sites.
Best Value
- easy to use
- Free app
- Compatible with all devices
- It gives the best comparison between ten different hosts
Kinsta says multisite is available on all plans except Single 35k visits and Single 20GB bandwidth. If you run a network or manage several client sites, confirm the exact plan’s multisite eligibility and resource implications in Kinsta’s multisite documentation.
What this review can—and cannot—establish
Kinsta’s published pages support a useful assessment of its plan structure, listed features, and documented overage terms. They do not establish how fast a given site will load, how it will perform under a particular traffic pattern, or how its uptime compares with another host. Kinsta publishes customer testimonials on its pricing page, but those are provider-published endorsements rather than independent measurements.
For a fair comparison with another managed WordPress host, align the billing period, install count, bandwidth or traffic allowance, storage, CDN allowance, backup retention, migration support, support access, staging and APM capabilities, security features, and overage or add-on costs. An entry price alone does not show the likely total cost for your workload.
